A good college with some flaws.
Placements: Around 120 out of 150 were placed last year. The average salary is around 14 LPA as per as the documents I got last year. The highest salary is 1 crore, and average salary is 14.4 LPA for CSE alone, and 30 LPA for top 30% students. But for seniors the real average package is somewhere around 8 LPA - 9 LPA some say it's 6 LPA - 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has excellent infrastructure especially if you are going to live in the hostel facility of college GHS. The college is not that big. It has a main building called as dome building with library in it for B.Tech and other branches. We have 4 other blocks and 2 messes in total with many cafeterias around the college university. We also have a cricket ground with basketball court, badminton, and tennis court along with a football area. The infrastructure is excellent, to be precise.
Faculty: Teachers are good for many courses. For some courses, they are just bad like university keeps on introducing new courses every year. So most of the time, no teacher in university knows any of them, so they just watch youtube videos just like us before teaching us. While talking about exams, they are not constant for every course like CSE and data science. The exams are the hardest for AI, IT, IoT, CCE, and ECE, they are medium to easy.

Welcome to Manipal University.
Placements: I am not very clear about the number of students placed but it is around 93% in engineering for the year 2024. The average package was 9.5 LPA (as of 2024), and for the highest it was 88 LPA (as of 2024). Top recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Intel, Adobe, Philips, Deloitte, and Capgemini. Not sure about the internship numbers but approximately 94% are from internships and placements.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are top-notch, you never feel missing your home, you get more than a vip college. It has a perfect campus, good Wi-Fi, clean and air-conditioned classrooms, more than 3 libraries, and well connectivity between hostel and college. Hostels are also pretty decent. We get Wi-Fi, decent mess food sometimes, due to excess crowd we have to wait last long to an hour. Medical facilities are also good. There is always an ambulance available 24X7 for the Manipal Hospital, Jaipur, for any serious issue. Both indoor and outdoor sports areas are given to us with a numerous variety of games including snooker, indoor football, table tennis, basketball court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty knowledgeable and polite with their subjects and loyal. They are able to clarify subjects, yet I would say the first year subjects are unnecessary for someone who has got CSE degree as I would study biology, chemistry, etc. Almost 80% of students pass the semester exams. The exams are pretty easy, last 2 weeks of preparation can give you more than 8 GPA.
Other: I chose this course because I had a great interest in CSE since my 9th class. Due to my family being in IT sector, I had an interest since childhood to get into computer industry. I think the best thing about my course is how easy they are when you know a little bit of it previously it's just some extension of that. The things to improve should include a focus on more practical than theoretical. We get 2 major events to celebrate per year, clubs, and many other minor events happen every week.

It is a decent college if money isn't much of an issue.
Placements: Many students here join with the aim of higher studies especially abroad or the family business thereafter. The placement, though, is average, around 8-9 LPA, although the median goes about 7-8 LPA. Internship opportunities are limited, to be honest. You mostly have to find them on your own. They do provide information on openings, though.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good here, both on campus and in hostels. They have really good classrooms, equipped labs, free Wi-Fi, and a decent library. The campus is known for its dome building, giving it a Jaipur vibe. For hostels, you can opt for double sharing. The room has two beds, two pillows, mattresses, two side tables, two cupboards, two study tables, two wardrobes, and four charging ports, with an attached bathroom and a mirror. There are two messes to choose from each semester. The hostel time is 9 PM, and the block-in time is 11 PM.
Faculty: Some faculty here are good, while some are okay. For B. Tech, in the second year, the stream study differs branch-wise. The course curriculum is good and somewhat progressive, but the implementation through the faculty could have been better. There are 2 exams, midterms 30 marks and end terms 80 marks, which are then reduced to a 40-mark weightage, along with internal marks 30, making a total of 100 marks. The GPA calculation is cumulative. You need to get 33% in both the end terms and overall. Exams are easy, except for the CSE core is average level.
Other: I chose CSE since I am interested in coding and its logical aspects. I like the freedom we get here. It is all up to you, though you make yourself or break yourself, as the crowd here isn't very future-oriented. There are tons of clubs here for your hobbies. The annual fest is pretty average, although there are many events going on all the time.

Excellent infrastructure, relevant curriculum, and strong placement opportunities.
Placements: Approximately 80%-85% of students got successfully placed in various companies after completing the course, the percentage may vary with batch. The highest package is 40 LPA-50 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA-6 LPA. The average is 10 LPA-15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, and TCS are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: There is high-speed Wi-Fi, labs with high-performance machines and software, spacious well-lit classrooms with projectors, and well-stocked library with textbooks, journals, research papers, and e-books available. Hostels offer comfortable living arrangements. The quality of food in the canteen is good. There are great facilities for sports, medical emergencies, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified teachers with strong academic backgrounds, professors focus on both theoretical and practical concepts and applications. Course curriculum is updated with current industry trends and technological achievements. Pass percentage is 85%-90%, challenging and fair testing.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and problem-solving, the ever-growing role of computer science. Courses are well-integrated to ensure students gain real-world experience, makes easier to grasp and apply the knowledge.

Overview of Manipal University, Jaipur.
Placements: My course is CSE with data science and the first batch of placed students has not passed out yet so there is not much information regarding placements. But it is said that the placements are very decent for the top 3 CS branches (core, AIML, and data science).
Infrastructure: There is quality Wi-Fi in this college. We have quality boards, good and spacious AC, and well-equipped classrooms with MATLAB, computer, and machine learning labs. The college will provide all kinds of quality high-end software and hardware when students do end up needing it.
Faculty: Curriculum is good and updated to real-life scenarios. The faculty members are great too, depending from student to student and what subject intrigues them more. All faculty members are well-qualified and there is a good teacher-to-student ratio in every class. The semester exams are moderately easy depending on how many credits a subject needs. The course curriculum is very relevant and the students become industry-ready in this college.
Other: The course has several other factors like teaching extra things related to programming and projects that will enhance a student's resume further into this course. The course could be improved if they taught C+ instead of C which no one really uses anymore.

For MUJ (lateral entry) you have to give Manipal Entrance Test and in the first year, your CGPA should be above the meeting criteria in order to get the admission in CS branch.

If you are able to get LNMIIT, then I would prefer you to come to LNMIIT as it is better them MUJ.

Hi, Direct admission is given through management quota. You can get a seat in the same, if seats are available. You should visit the campus and talk to the concerned authorities. Although fees are higher for management quota than normal students.

Hi Rajyavardhan,
It will be difficult to get computer science engineering with this score. Although your first preference should be computer science engineering. After that you must apply for information technology, then ECE. You will get a branch easily.

First of all, MIT provides you better placement as compare to Manipal University Jaipur. And, if you hate biology, then you can go with Manipal Jaipur. Manipal Jaipur is also good and provides you average placement. Both of these campuses have got a really good infrastructure and good campus life.
