Experience of my college life.

Placements: Students without any backlog get placed easily. The highest package is 42 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3-5 LPA. Pinnacle is the top recruiting company of our course. Many students got internships in companies like HG Infra Private Limited, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation,, etc. It is a good college to study.

Infrastructure: The college provides well-established labs and contains all the necessary equipment. The library is open from morning 8 AM to 9 PM. The food in the canteen is hygienic and good for health. Medical facilities and sports facilities are good. It is a good college.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are as per the syllabus and 36% is the pass percentage. Exams are not very difficult. If we study well then it is not hard to pass exams.

Other: I chose this course because of the study environment and faculty members' quality.

SKIT is the number one engineering college in Rajasthan.

Placements: Many companies visit our college to provide placements to students like Wipro, Tata Steel, etc. The average salary package is offered to 30-40% of students. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered this year is 23 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SKIT is very good. There are separate buildings for civil mechanical and computer science courses. There is also a separate building for pharmacy students. There is a central library in the college with more than 6,000 books, etc. There is also a separate department library for every department.

Faculty: Teachers of my college have completed their education from IITs like IIT Mumbai, Roorkee, etc. There are two exams first in the college internal, mid-term, and second is the main semester RTI exam. The internal exam is of 30 marks and the external exam is of 70 marks. We have to obtain 36 marks to pass exams.

Other: I chose a civil engineering course because it is simple. There are more opportunities in government jobs in civil engineering. There are many events performed in the college like the annual Pravha celebration, annual festivals celebration, other events, etc. It also invites singers and celebrities.

A good college with great opportunities but a very strict curriculum and a lack of freedom.

Placements: Our college has 2 batches consisting of 60 students each. Many students prepare for government exams so only a few apply for placements around 50%. In civil only a few companies visit for recruitment such as Asian paints, Infosys, and Adani cement and it recruits only 2 to 3 students. In our batch, out of 25 students, 2 students got placed in Asian paints. So placement is average in civil engineering. Only 20% to 30% of students got placed in civil engineering in big companies such as Asian Paints and JK Cement.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good in civil engineering. All types of labs are available such as RMT lab and concrete lab with all equipment. Infrastructure is also good in civil department. Classrooms and toilets are clean. Library with computer, newspapers, Wi-Fi, etc., are available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Hostel have good Wi-Fi and rooms are also good but they have very strict rules and procedure for taking leave. The quality of food in mess is low and very bad no one likes it.

Faculty: Most faculty members are good and from big colleges such as NITs. They are always ready to help students. Only one to two teachers are very strict and students find it difficult to understand and cooperate with them. Course curriculum is average, we are not able to relate to the new technology and syllabus is not up to date. Semester exam are neither hard nor easy, others are okay. Pass percentage is 33%.

Review of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Management and Gramothan, Jaipur.

Placements: The placement stats are decent and not very good. Companies visit campus but offer very low packages, and brilliant students also get very low pay. For particular civil branches, mostly people opt for higher studies and prepare for government jobs. Companies like JK Enterprise offer supervisory roles for placement purposes.

Infrastructure: The civil block is not so well maintained but is average and the labs are good and well equipped. The library is well furnished. The campus and all buildings are well equipped with WiFi facilities. The class size is good and with proper lights. According to my hosteler friends, the mess food is not very good and also tastes bad. Hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The faculty is good and very attentive towards the students. The exams are of moderate level and can be cleared easily with a regular study of a few weeks. A total of 2 midterms and one end-term paper are to be given for one semester. A minimum of 36 percent is the passing percentage. The study is not very relevant and more new and latest concepts could be introduced.

Other: I chose this course because I like industrial visits. I would like to improve the course curriculum and increase industrial visits. There are events like ICI Fest, which includes sports, games and cultural activities.

My thoughts and views of SKIT.

Placements: Major students are placed from the CE section. The highest package offered in this course is around 15LPA. The average package of this college is 5LPA. The top campus visiting the college are from the IT sector and they recruit accordingly. The lowest package was that of 4 LPA this year. Local companies as well as MNCs visit the college for recruitments.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average rated. Wi-Fi, labs and library facilities are available in the college. The mess food is not so good and it can be improved. You get 2 vegetables along with roti and dahi. The campus has various sports facilities including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, tennis, long tennis and many more. The classrooms are average in size and are enough to accommodate 70 students.

Faculty: The teachers are very kind and helping in nature. They give you every kind of knowledge possible. The curriculum is not very relevant to the real world application and can be improved. 2 midterms and one end semester exam are conducted during one semester. The difficulty level is average and they can be cleared by studying a few days before the exams.

Other: The crowd of the campus is not up to the mark. But this can not be changed. Also, the area of the campus is a bit small and we can't do anything about it.
