It is absolutely worth every penny we are paying.

Placements: Actually, every senior from our college gets a placement. That is true, and the minimum LPA is about 5, which is good. At the beginning, companies like Deloitte and other companies, such as Omics, Logice, and Wipro, come for placement.

Infrastructure: Everything is available, including Wi-Fi, labs worth 2-3 lakhs, classrooms with projectors, and a library worth visiting. I suggest everyone at least visit the campus, which provides a positive vibe and is worth every bit. There are several programs ongoing.

Faculty: Teachers are very good. They explain every point clearly and help students achieve their goals. The semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage is 50%, and attendance is mandatory at 75%, which should be strictly followed.

Other: I am from Kerala. I chose this course because I am eager in the field of drug development. Events, fests, and all are superb in the college. It allows students to enjoy them

Awesome campus and totally satisfied.

Placements: 100% placement. An average of 8-53 Lacs per annum is offered from different companies including Microsoft, TCS, etc. Internship opportunities are offered to each and every student. They provide opportunities for the students to do projects and internships of their own for a duration of 6 months. Also, military camps are mandatory for the students of this college. The library facility and lab infrastructure are so sophisticated so that the students can build up their career.

Infrastructure: A well-developed infrastructure of labs and high strong Wi-Fi is offered. The hostel is so secure and so beautiful. Heavy collection of books, which is so sophisticated. Food such as fast food and also traditional foods is of high quality. Amity University can be said as the cheapest and best college while comparing with other universities, which emphasize academics as well as co-curricular activities.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members have Ph.D.s, and they are having true potential to teach the students. Each and every topic is well taught along with the labs. Industrial visits are done for the students to know the career opportunities and the actual scenario of their career. More than 6 CGPA is required for passing the examination, and the questions are always maintaining the standard, which imposes a deep understanding of the subject.

Other: I choose this course because of the relevance of the course and also its multidisciplinary aspect. As it emphasizes the IT and biological sectors, the improvement and development in both domains are important to achieve success in a career. Along with academics, this college gives equal importance to cultural and other events, which are part of college life. They are giving even 100% scholarship for students who deserve it.

Our campus is good and has good faculty members.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bharat Biotech, Wipro, Intas Pharmaceuticals, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in our college. Our labs' timings are from 9 am - 5 am. Our classrooms are well-furnished. Our library timings are from 9 am - 8 pm. Every hostel has a separate canteen.

Faculty: Our teachers are good, highly educated, and very friendly. They teach us very well. Exams are moderate. If students study well in classes, they won't face any issues during exams. Almost 95% of students pass exams.

Other: I opted for this course because I am from a medical background, and I like computer programming. Bioinformatics is a branch that comprises both biology and computers.

Placements: Amity assures confirmed placements. Students are not detained in any of their subjects throughout their course. In bioinformatics, the placement rate is 100%, and internships are provided by Pine Biotech to most of the students. The average salary package offered by the companies ranges from 4 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for bioinformatics are Clevergene, Strand Life Sciences and Pine Biotech. The top roles offered are research scientist and data analyst in bioinformatics.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the one thing which is to be noticed. Classrooms are spacious and completely air-conditioned. Students learn better than they would because of lab facilities and tidy classrooms. Outdoors and corridors have a good Wi-Fi facility. All departments have good lab facilities. The library is a well-maintained place with books as per department and course-wise. The hostel is good with both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. Hostels are cosy and well maintained. The quality of the food served varies from fair to excellent, and there are different combinations of food items. There is a neat and well-equipped mess and food. Vans are also available. There is Nescafe, which is open until 12 am and is situated in both boys' and girls' hostel. There is a common Nescafe also.

Faculty: The faculty members here are quite helpful, especially in understanding students. The majority of them are always ready to help and cooperate with students. They have excellent knowledge of their respective subjects. A part of our curriculum involves projects and presentations. The course curriculum is definitely relevant, and the faculty members keep updating it according to the trends in the industry. Dissertation projects are provided which aim to do internships in a particular industry to enhance the practical experience.

Other: I am pursuing B.Tech in bioinformatics from such a good university. The course is neatly divided into sections for easy comprehension. Internship exposure is the best thing in my field. I would highly recommend every student to choose this course and join this university. This university also has various other degrees, which include a bachelor as well as masters with the surety of placements. Our university is cost-effective, and if you work hard and have a great co-curricular programme, you'll get placed well. Amity has a reputation worldwide. It has good sports facilities which include football, cricket, badminton and an indoor playing area also. Playgrounds are spacious enough, and the campus also has a gym. Amity is known for its crowd and campus life, which are above and beyond standards. The campus is spread over 150 acres of land, and it is a beautiful campus with greenery and good vibes. If students want to pursue education in a good environment, I would definitely advise them to choose this college.

I had an amazing experience, and I loved it.

Placements: We are students of bioinformatics, and we can work in an IT company or a biological research-based company easily. All our seniors were recruited in good companies with good salary packages. Some of them are opting to choose masters as well. Even though the strength in our batch is low, all of them got recruited quickly with a good salary package.

Infrastructure: Our college has an excellent infrastructure with all the amenities possible for a college student. There is a mess, along with a few restaurants and cafes. The hostels also have their own cafes, which are open 24x7. Apart from that, there are a grocery store and food truck near the hostels.

Faculty: The faculty members here are excellent and are always willing to help. They are approachable, and you can always call them to ask questions or additional research. Their teaching quality is impeccable. The course curriculum is up to date and updated with the current trends in bioinformatics.

Good faculty members but you need to work hard.

Placements: The placements here are quite good. Some got placements for 6 lakh/ annum but in non-core industry. Companies like DXC technologies, Byju's, Dell, Genpact, Apelo recruited students from our university. Internship opportunities are pretty good, my senior took final year training in IITs, Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi, etc. Placement in Bioinformatics is 100% last year.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully air-conditioned. The library is good but small. The hostel is average, there are AC (60000/year) and non AC rooms (1lakh/year). There are a variety of food options available and mess charges are on a per meal basis. Breakfast is 40 per meal likewise. Medical facilities are quite good and provide transport for NIMS hospital. Sports and games are pretty active on our campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are quite helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good but some subjects are not that important yet included. But for 2020 batch that won't be a problem since there is new education policy and that will be followed. There are workshops to get industry like experience.

Other: I choose this course because I like biology and have a great interest in IT. So bioinformatics is the combination of both and this is just perfect for me. Best thing for me is data analysis, programming. Events and Fests are quite fun. Campus crowd is great. They provide scholarships. There are many clubs that one can join for extracurricular activities. Timings for college is 9 am to 5pm.

Why Amity - The reality of AUR.

Placements: Not many students particularly from my course get placed but some top scores do get placed. So you have to maintain a good CGPA by the end of your course to get placed. The average package is around 5.97 LPA. Top recruiting companies that come here are BioCon, Byjus, TCS, etc. The highest package is around 47.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is quite good. My classes are conducted in D block, which I consider the best block of all. Classrooms are very well maintained and air-conditioned. They have a projector installed, and the chairs are very comfortable. Labs are well-equipped. There is public Wi-Fi available in all the blocks. There are Nescafe outlets near the blocks and in hostels. We have vending machines and coffee machines as well. The hostel is quite average. Food is not allowed inside the hostels. The mess food is fine.

Faculty: Some teachers are good and helpful while others are not. The course and curriculum are quite relevant and meet the industry standard. The semester exams (mid-semester and end-semester) are quite easy, if you study enough or even focus during class. With the help of PYQs, you can easily score good in your exams.

Other: This course is a quite new emerging field. But I wish the teaching quality were a bit better. The campus life is great if you love partying. There is always some other event taking place here on the campus. The events are amazing. I love the green campus and love how the moon looks from here. Only students who have above 75% in 12th get it. 75% above get 25%, 88% get 50%, and 92% above get 100%. But after 2nd semester, you have to get good grades to maintain it.
