Review of Amity University, Noida.

Placements: A lot of students were placed. Due to corona, an excessive number of students got admission. There were no recruiting companies. Students want to go for further studies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so well developed. They are very outdated and signify depression. The quality of food in the mess was fine, but we have a private eating lounge, where I used to eat mostly.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but some are cranky. Their teaching quality was good. Semester exams are not so difficult. Students who study well, may get good marks in exams.

Other: I don't know why I chose this course and it's not worth. They should take the equal fees as for the normal degree students. .

Satisfied because of good facilities, innovative study measures, research focused equipments.

Placements: My course does not provide placements as psychology students need to finish Masters and even M.Phil for specialisation. Its not university's fault, it is part of the structure. Besides that, the practicals classes were perfectly conducted. The university definitely provides placement for post graduation and other courses and in my opinion they put in enough efforts to make sure that the deserving students get placed.

Infrastructure: Facilities like labs, Wi-Fi and library were up to the mark. Laboratories were clean, well-equipped and maintained. Library was updated, with enough space and services for students. Hostels were also well maintained and organised, provided enough freedom to the students and were safe and hygienic.

Faculty: All the teachers were qualified, they had Ph.D. in respective fields. They were very helpful and made great efforts to prepare study material with innovative measures. The course curriculum is relevant, it provides perfect base for the field. The semester exams are sometimes hard to clear, also the university does not allow students to give exams if they do not maintain their attendance above 75%.

Other: The best thing about this course was, it makes student conduct researches and studies and hence makes them ready for Ph.D. and further studies. The academic structure is also above average.

Enjoying the space, your experience also depends on course. Not as bad as they tell you.

Placements: Bachelor's Degree is psychology will not land you any job. You can only pursue psychology as a career after your master's. Also Psychology is a lucrative job field. There's almost nothing set in stone and usually you are the one who has to pave the way. Almost all students land good internships but jobs aren't really promised. Top roles offered can vary from HR to a Proper independent practitioning psychologist.

Infrastructure: Amity university offers an elite experience in terms of the infrastructure, library, the classrooms and other facilities. The hostels are not so well maintained, there have been complaints regarding the over-all environment of the college and people have not had the best experience there. The food is also apparently not the nicest. Apart from this Amity aces at co-curricular things such as sports facilities, events, games etc.

Faculty: The faculty is not the most prestigious, but helpful since it happens to be a private college. Specially in psychology I've received more support than expected. The course syllabus is also very elaborate and covers a variety of subjects. I have not given the exams yet so I won't be able to comment but as of now the Professors seem very helpful with whatever they are teaching.

I am not that satisfied with the college, to be honest.

Placements: To get a job in the field of psychology, a person needs atleast a master's degree. I don't have any knowledge about the placement cell in the department as I am a B.A. student. There are a minimum of 60 students per section in my batch, and we have 6 sections.

Infrastructure: There is a small lab in the department. Wi-Fi services are available. You can connect only two devices. But the speed is very poor. There is a huge central library on campus. There is a medical clinic on campus too. For hostelers, there are a mess and canteen. But everything is veg, and non-vegetarian is not allowed on campus. The quality of food is not the best, and it can be said medium. The prices are a little high compared to what you get outside the campus. For sports and games, all the facilities are available. It has a gym and an indoor play area.

Faculty: 60% of teachers have PhDs. 40% are highly knowledgeable. As a whole, the teaching quality is good. Although it differs. The course curriculum is very well-planned. Apart from the regular subjects, students are also taught behavioural science, English communication and foreign language. The course provides enough credit, which allows you to directly apply for Masters abroad. Bridge course or any other courses are not required. The semester exams are not that difficult. You can easily score well.
