Absolutely satisfied with the college, faculty, and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has excellent placements, and students also get opportunities to do internships both within and outside the college. The average package is 10 lakh per annum, and the roles offered in top companies include industrial psychologists and clinical psychologists.

Infrastructure: The facilities are really supportive and understanding. The classrooms, library, and seminar halls are air-conditioned, and the infrastructure of the college is top-notch. The only issue is network connectivity; otherwise, the entire campus is great and aesthetically pleasing. The food in the canteen is really good, and sports and games are actively encouraged.

Faculty: Our faculty is very helpful. Most of our teachers either have their doctorate or are pursuing their doctorate in psychology. The teaching quality is good, and the teachers are always open to addressing doubts and providing feedback. The curriculum is relevant to the course as it includes a practical component. Exams are difficult, but students perform well, and we often have a university topper from our batch.

Other: I chose this course because it is one of the best not only in Gargi College but also in the University of Delhi. Our fest ranks among the top 5 in Delhi University.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, staff, and infrastructure.

Placements: Maximum students were placed. The average package was a minimum of 10 lakh per annum. Most students get internships, and our college also offers on-campus internships. Top roles can be as an organizational psychologist and a clinical psychologist.

Infrastructure: The psychology department has air-conditioned classrooms, and the library and halls are also air-conditioned. There is greenery all around the college, and our college has smart classrooms. Our college doesn’t have Wi-Fi, but the labs are all very well maintained. The canteen has amazing food, and the sports and games facilities are top-notch.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Most of our teachers are either pursuing a PhD or have already completed their doctorate. The teaching quality is really good, and teachers are very understanding. Yes, the curriculum is perfect for students as it includes a practical element. Exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 98%.

Other: Gargi is the best college for psychology in Delhi University. Things I would like to improve include the network coverage in the area. The events at Gargi are among the top 5 fests in Delhi University.

Placements: Some of the top recruiters were Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Wipro, and TCS. The average salary package for students can range from 3-5 LPA for undergraduate courses. For certain courses, the highest package can go up to 10-12 LPA. Placement opportunities exist in media, public relations, etc.

Infrastructure: It has great academic infrastructure: classrooms, laboratories, library with a good collection of books, journals, and e-resources. Also, it offers great extracurricular activities, an auditorium, seminar hall, and sports facilities. High environmental initiatives are taken by the college staff.

Placements: The average placement offered by the college is 5 LPA. Moreover, to get placed in the top colleges, a student needs to have an SGPA above 9 along with in-depth knowledge of his or her discipline. The top roles offered in applied psychology can vary after you pursue your Masters in psychology as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but not the best. There are mess and canteen facilities that provide quality food at reasonable prices. The library seems very good with no disturbance. The environment of the college is great. Overall, it was a good experience at this college.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very good at Gargi College. The teachers are great with their disciplines and respective fields of work. The psychology industry is really good, with great career prospects in the future. The difficulty of the exam varies from moderate to easy.

Other: The overall experience at Gargi is amazing. The field I am enrolled in stands out as a department in our college. The metro provides great connectivity to the college. Excellent faculty and loving people around.

Placements: I am still pursuing it at my college and there are many placement opportunities that we get from different companies. One of the best internships and training programs was provided by Corizo. It offered a government-certified certificate and a one-month internship.

Infrastructure: The food available in the canteen is good, but there is less variety and sometimes it seems unhealthy. Every district has its own Wi-Fi facilities and the library is equally wonderful. We have a reading room as well, where we can study or do our assignments if we have any time left between the classes.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely good and very knowledgeable. However, at times we do feel a lot of burden due to an increase in additional subjects like SEC, VAC and AEC under NDP policy. Semester exams are easy; there is not much pressure to be undertaken. Overall, our curriculum is good.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a psychologist and my best experience in this course is the administration of different tests that we do by inviting random participants from our campus. And many events and festivals do happen at our college.

Yes, after your intermediate i.e. Class 12th, you can apply to the college for general category. Delhi University will display cutoff for each course college wise in its official website.
