Anant National University accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to the B.Des program:
AnantU Design Entrance Test (DET).
To apply for the B.Des program at Anant National University, you need to pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

The DET is a 100-mark question paper that assesses a student's aptitude for the design domain, consisting of 90 questions about general awareness, current affairs, logical reasoning, and basics of design knowledge. Students need to complete the test within 90 minutes.

Applicants for BDes programme are first shortlisted based on the score obtained in the online Design entrance test (DET) conducted by the University. Shortlisted applicants have to then clear interview round for final selection to the programme.

Anant National University require students to take the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test for selection. It is a mandatory examination for all the aspirants of BDes course. This entrance test is conducted in 10 different languages, including Hindi, English, Marathi, Bengali, etc. It is an hour-long national level examination. 

Anant National University BDes tuition fee amounts to INR 6.25 lakh, per annum. This fee component is subject to an increase of 7.5% year on year. Anant National University offers seven BDes specialisations such as BDes in Product Design, Transdisciplinary Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Communication design, Moving Design, Space Design, Moving Image. The eligibility criteria for the course is Class 12 with 50% aggregate. 

 The entire admission process for BDes for all majors at Anant is conducted online.

The candidates are evaluated in three different rounds for the admission process.

1. For the first round, all candidates appear for the written part of Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT). This is a 90 minutes long 100 marks objective test with no which has three sections -

?      ADEPT Section A : Logical Thinking - 50 marks

25 questions for two marks each

?      ADEPT Section B : Design Knowledge - 25 marks

25 questions for one mark each

?      ADEPT Section C : General knowledge - 25 marks

25 questions for one mark each

There is no negative marking in this test.

2. Upon successful clearance of this test, candidates are invited to sit for the ADEPT Situation test. This round comprises two parts -

?    ADEPT Situation test - Section D: Essay / précis writing  - 10 marks

For this section, the applicant can choose one of the two presented topic options, corresponding to which they are to write a 300 word essay/précis.

 Evaluation is done on the basis of following parameter -

?      structure & presentation                      2 marks 

?      ADEPT Situation test - Section E: Sketching skills - 10 marks

For this section, a handmade sketch has to be submitted corresponding to the given topic.

Evaluation is done on the basis of following parameter -

Here, the applicants are given four days to submit their response on the online portal. 

3. Students who clear the ADEPT Situation Test are invited for a Personal Interview where they also get a chance to showcase their portfolio.

Here, the candidates will be scrutinised on the basis of -

?      conversational capability                      10 marks

?      awareness and knowledge of topic      10 marks

?      attitude and personal skills                   10 marks
