But let me assure you that, it makes absolutely no difference in your future life. For all purposes, both degrees are treated equally by the Industry as well as the academia. I would strongly advise you to not lose sleep over this totally insignificant issue. What is most important is the quality of faculty and perception of the institution outside it's premises. On this count MIT scores handsomely over its peers. Another issue you should not bother about is whether it's aeronautical engineering or aerospace engineering. Practically both are same. I can give information regarding car engineering at LPU university because I am an LPU alumnus. One of my friends was also enrolled in B.Tech Automobile. I'll go through a few key points of LPU, and I hope that helps. Automobile engineering benefits from LPU. Good placements in both core and software companies. Apart from participating in other activities such as go-karting, project expos, and entertainment events such as One India, One World, and so on. Practical learning as well as informative guest talks. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every eligible student for good placement. LPU is rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure.
