The College of Engineering (CEG), School of Architecture and Planning (SAP), Alagappa College of Technology (ACT) and Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) are the constituent colleges of Anna University and so they are the top ranking colleges.

Hello Sanket,Its nice to know your dream of pursuing aeronautical engineering. But why from MIT Chennai? Unfortunately many states including Maharashtra and TN allow only domiciles of the state to seek admission in the seats in their respective states. Anna University is completely different from IITs. Anna university is state technical university of Tamil Nadu in which 95% of Engineering colleges are affiliated to it. But IIT are governed by MHRD directly. And placement depends on the college not on university.

The Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) is an engineering institute located in Chromepet, Chennai (Madras), India. It is one of the four autonomous constituent colleges (University Departments) of Anna University It was established in 1949 by Chinnaswami Rajam as the first self-financing engineering institute in the country, and later it merged with Anna University. The institute was at that time an experiment in technical education, for it introduced to India new areas of specialisation: aeronautical engineering, automobile engineering, electronics engineering and instrumentation technology. MIT was the first self-financing college opened in India. DR APJ Abdul Kalam is one of the famous alumni. Yes this college has good management and hostels facilities. College encourage foreign student to came for higher study. Yes it is good for foreign student and having good hostel and other facilities.
