For graduates in computer Science and engineering (CSE), PSG College of Technology and MIT (Madras Institute of Technology) are both reputable institutes with strong job chances. PSG Institute of Technology is recognised as one of the best engineering schools in India and is well known for its high standards of instruction, partnerships with businesses, and successful placement results. A specialised placement cell at the college coordinates job fairs, campus recruiting campaigns, and other career development initiatives. Several best firms, like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many more, conduct recruiting drives on campus and provide students with attractive compensation packages. The CSE programme at MIT Chennai, an esteemed engineering school in India, is renowned for its curriculum, research opportunities, and industry partnerships. The institution offers an active placement cell that arranges campus placements with top businesses like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Oracle, and many more as well as training. Both colleges have excellent placement records for CSE graduates, and the choice between the two may depend on several factors such as location, course curriculum, faculty, research opportunities, campus life, and personal preferences. And finally, the choice is yours.

SASTRA University is far better/more recognised than SASTRA University. You would have better opportunities/placements at Anna University. Anna University stands in top 10 list of best Engineering colleges in India, where SASTRA stands somewhere between 40 to 60. With that said SASTRA is not bad either, I am a SASTRA alum but given a chance, I would do my engineering at Anna.

Yes, you can apply for Anna University even if you have studied 1 to 12 in Telangana. Anna University is located in Tamil Nadu and it offers admission to students from all over India, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for admission to Anna University may vary depending on the course you wish to apply for. You will need to check the specific eligibility criteria for the course you are interested in by visiting the official website of Anna University or contacting the admissions office. Regarding your question about applying from another state, it is not necessary to apply from your home state. You can apply from any state in India, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for the course you are interested in. However, it is important to note that some states have their own entrance exams for admission to engineering colleges. If you have appeared for such exams in Telangana, you may also need to check if they are recognised by Anna University. In case you are required to appear for an entrance exam conducted by Anna University, you will need to travel to Tamil Nadu to take the exam. It is advisable to carefully check the admission requirements and eligibility criteria for Anna University and plan accordingly to ensure a smooth admission process.
