JECRC University has been recognised among the “Top 10 Promising Colleges to Study Cyber Security Programs - 2025” by Higher Education Review, marking another significant milestone in the university’s commitment to future-focused, industry-oriented, and innovation-driven education.
This recognition highlights the university’s growing academic ecosystem in the domains of Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Investigation, and emerging technologies. It particularly reflects JECRC University’s interdisciplinary approach toward integrating Forensic Science with Cyber Security and Digital Investigation to prepare students for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
With the rapid rise in cyber threats, digital frauds, and technology-driven crimes across the globe, the demand for skilled professionals in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics continues to grow significantly. Recognising this emerging need, JECRC University has been actively building an academic and research environment that equips students with analytical thinking, investigative capabilities, technological competence, and practical exposure aligned with real-world challenges.
The Department of Forensic Science at JECRC University currently offers the following academic programs:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Forensic Science
• M.Sc. Forensic Science
• M.Sc. Digital Forensics & Information Security
• Ph.D. in Forensic Science

These programs are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in scientific investigation, cyber intelligence, digital evidence analysis, and emerging security technologies. The curriculum emphasises both theoretical understanding and hands-on learning to ensure students are prepared for professional and research-oriented roles in the field.

Beyond classroom learning, students are provided opportunities for practical exposure and skill development through internships and professional collaborations with organisations, including the Rajasthan Police and various government forensic science laboratories, such as State, Central, and Regional Forensic Science Laboratories, along with private forensic laboratories. These experiences provide valuable hands-on exposure to real-world investigations and forensic practices.
