This recognition highlights the university’s growing academic ecosystem in the domains of Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Investigation, and emerging technologies. It particularly reflects JECRC University’s interdisciplinary approach toward integrating Forensic Science with Cyber Security and Digital Investigation to prepare students for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
With the rapid rise in cyber threats, digital frauds, and technology-driven crimes across the globe, the demand for skilled professionals in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics continues to grow significantly. The Department of Forensic Science at JECRC University currently offers the following academic programs:

Candidates who are Class 12 pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate in all subjects can apply for BDes at JECRC University. The documents as a proof of eligibility also have to be submitted. For admission, the students have to pass the selection rounds as well.

JECRC University BDes 2026 registrations are open. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria can visit the website to register and apply. The application fee for the UG course is INR 1,000. For offline applications, admission office can be contacted.

Candidates withdrawing admission from JECRC University BDes course can submit an application for the same. The form has to be submitted in person along with original copy of the fee deposit receipt. JECRC refund fees to the applicants as per UGC guidelines for 2026-27 session.

The latest ranking data is not out for JECRC University in the Design category. However, in 2025, the university was ranked #21 by The Week for its Design programme. The university is ranked by different bodies in the "overall category" as well.

Yes, there are three exit options in the JECRC BDes Interior Design course. Candidates can opt out after first year and obtain one year certificate in Interior Design. The students exiting after the second year can get UG Diploma. A BDes UG degree is awarded after completion of three years.

JECRC University accept applications of the eligible students only. These candidated are then directly invited for personal interview, portfolio presentation, and situation test. Students who pass these selection rounds have to report for physical counselling at the university in person.
