Tezpur University Admissions Through CUET UG: Process
The CUET admission process at Tezpur University includes the following steps:
- Reporting Process for Counselling: After the application process, students will receive an invitation in the form of an Email or SMS to 'Report for Counselling' based on the merit list and seat availability. Students have to log in to the candidate portal using their login credentials and on the Dashboard click on 'Proceed to Reporting' button. If the student wishes to continue with the admission process they can click the 'Request Accepted' or else click 'Request Declined'.
- Admission Process: Once the student has accepted the invitation they can then click on the 'Reporting Process for Admission' button. Once done, students can click the 'Proceed' button against the status column and accept or decline the seat. If accepted, students can exercise the 'Float' or 'Freeze' option. The 'Floating' option means that the applicant has set option open so that if the applicant is selected for a different programme they can participate in the Admission process. Still, in that case, they have to release the seat of the programme on which they have taken admission. The Freezing option indicates that the applicant has frozen the seat to the programme and in that case, the applicant would not be allowed to participate in the next programme if the applicant is selected. Finally, students have to make the fee payment to confirm the seats and choose weather they need the hostel or not.
- Hostel Admission Process: This process will be updated once the admission process is completed.
