As part of its 21-day Freshman Induction Programme (FIP)-2026, KIET Deemed to be University organized another enriching day of academic, cultural, and student-centric activities for newly admitted students. The programme was thoughtfully designed to foster holistic development while familiarizing students with the University's academic ecosystem, ethical values, and vibrant campus life.

The auditorium sessions began with 'Kavyanjali', a literary presentation that celebrated the richness of Indian poetry and inspired students to appreciate the power of language, creativity, and cultural expression. This was followed by an informative address by Prof. (Dr.) Sumita Ray Choudhary, Controller of Examinations, who acquainted students with the University's examination system, academic regulations, evaluation process, and examination guidelines, emphasising the importance of academic integrity and discipline.

A special "Nasha Mukt Yuva" (Drug-Free Youth) awareness session sensitised students to the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraged them to adopt a healthy, responsible, and value-based lifestyle.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Adesh Pandey, Director Academics, motivated students to pursue academic excellence through discipline, continuous learning, innovation, and research. He encouraged them to make optimum use of the University's academic resources, skill-development opportunities, and co-curricular platforms to prepare themselves for future professional challenges.

The afternoon featured "Kala Sangam: Heritage and Cultural Showcasing," a vibrant celebration of India's rich artistic traditions and cultural heritage. Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice Chancellor, shared inspiring insights and motivated students to cultivate future-ready technical competencies while embracing innovation with a strong sense of purpose. Dr. Manoj Goel, Pro-Vice Chancellor, encouraged the students to think creatively, transform their ideas into impactful ventures, and strive for excellence in every endeavour. Through captivating presentations and cultural performances, students showcased their talent and brought immense joy with great enthusiasm.

The 21-day induction programme concluded on a vibrant and celebratory note with mesmerising cultural performances by students, marking a memorable end. The closing ceremony reflected the University's commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also creativity, cultural appreciation, and holistic development, leaving the new students inspired and excited to embark on their journey at KIET.

Simultaneously, students actively participated in a range of experiential learning modules, including Communication and Literary Skills, Introduction to C Programming, Fundamental Mathematics for Engineers, Fundamental Physics for Engineers, AI Productivity Boot Camp, Imagination and Creativity, Heritage and Cultural Showcasing, and Indoor and Outdoor Sports Activities. These sessions strengthened students' technical competence, communication skills, creativity, analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Through the Freshman Induction Programme-2026, KIET Deemed to be University provides an educational environment that seamlessly integrates academic excellence, innovation, cultural awareness, ethical values, and holistic personality development, preparing students to become competent, socially responsible, and future-ready professionals.
