How is JEE Main 2026 percentile calculated?

National Testing Agency (NTA) uses a pre-determined normalization formula to calculate JEE Main percentile ranks. Raw scores obtained in exam are used to make the calculation for NTA score. Students can use official marks to calculate their raw scores in exam. For every correct answer, four marks are given. However, one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority will conduct JEE Main counselling through JoSAA. Qualified candidates can check JoSAA counselling 2026 dates to know when to participate in the admission process.
