Satisfied with the facilities provided, and the placement is really good and improving every year.
Placements: The placement is nice. There are a lot of opportunities provided by the college to get placed. The placement record is good, too. The only thing is that many off-campus offers are included. Overall, the Training and Placement Cell (TPC) here has experienced staff who have pretty solid connections, hence bringing ample offers to the college.
Infrastructure: The hostels for first-year students are more recently built, hence are better than any college compared. The hostels that are allotted for the later-year students are old. There are lots of things which don't meet the expectations, like the old fan connections and all. The mess is pretty decent for all hostels. Wi-Fi and LAN connections sometimes have a few little fluctuations, like any other college, but overall, they are nice.
Faculty: The curriculum is sure a little hectic, but at the same time, it is updated to the latest technologies, and this makes it better when compared to other colleges' obsolete curricula. The exams are held twice a semester and are pretty much manageable. There are many talented faculty with a passion for what they wanna teach, which is good. Overall, the course is good and not useless in terms of industry standards.
Other: The events and festival culture are best here. There are many sports events held (at least two in a year), and there is a fest held once a year or every two years, which is a techno-cultural fest and has a very large number of participants and includes all ranges of events and competitions in that.

First established the IIIT under the MOE.
Placements: Almost 95% of the students were placed by the placement cell. The on-campus placements were almost 67%, and the remaining were off-campus. According to the RTI, we got to know that the minimum package was 7 LPA, which was received by a 2-year MBA student, and the highest package received was 65 LPA in every branch, and the average package was around 28 LPA. Internships were given by many top-level companies such as Google, DE Shaw, and many more. The most prominent roles offered were related to SDE.
Infrastructure: We have a library with AC equipped in it, and we also have a Wi-Fi-enabled campus reaching 50 Mbps in the worst areas. Labs are very well-equipped, and the computer lab is the best of all, having the best configuration of systems and almost more than 200 PCs of that configuration that are very easily accessible.
Faculty: The curriculum is a bit hectic, but our college is more focused on academics, as the course involves many related subjects; we do not have any of the general Science subjects, so we do not have to study those subjects that will not be useful for us. Sem exams are a bit easy, but the attendance criteria are mandatory for all. In our batch, 100% were promoted to the next year, but a couple (~1%) had to retake a subject, so you will not fail any subject.
Other: The city is not as great as Mumbai or Delhi, but the campus is full of happening, great events year-round, and the crowd is very top-notch. Many seniors are into teaching and are also very easily accessible. The clubs in the college are much more active, and you can participate in any club and become a part of it.

Really good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: 98.21% of students passed out this year from our college. Highest package is 67 LPA, the lowest package is 10 LPA, and the average is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies from our campus are Google, Grow, Microsoft, and Meesho. Google also hires students for internships.
Infrastructure: Library is very good. All kinds of books are available there, and you can also issue books for yourself. Wi-Fi routers are provided, and internet speed is also quite good. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Labs are also maintained properly. Food is not as good as it should be, and in mess after sometimes quality degrades. There are 3 canteens where you can eat. Medical facilities are available. There is a doctor present at his time, and you can consult him in case of small injuries.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Most of them have done PhD's and they are available at their cabins for doubt solving. I find a problem in understanding their language, and it causes quite trouble but they do support our projects and all. The curriculum is relevant and very suitable for a student pursuing software development. Students do make industry reach by following the curriculum. Semester exams are not so hard generally but I would say they are between moderate to difficult. Passing percentage is 35%.

The infrastructure is good, but the management is not.
Placements: The highest package offered is 1 CPA. It is an international package. Many MNCs visit our college during the placement season, like Microsoft, Google, DE Shaw, Wipro, etc. The average package varies according to the branch. We have 3 branches in Bachelors: CSE, Mathematics, and EEE.
Infrastructure: Sports facilities are better than many other IIITs, but hostels are not at all good. Food in the canteen is also the best. We have two canteens, one for veg and the other for non-veg. In my opinion, mess food is not that great, but breakfast is okay. We do have common Wi-Fi in every lobby of the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty here is great, they are very friendly with students. We also have a solid curriculum that prepares students for the industry, and the placement percentage is almost 97%. As for the semester exams, I can still recall those sleepless nights.
Other: I chose this because I am interested in CSE. Talking about fests, we had great fun during Urja, the college sports fest, and Inter-IIIT as well, where we saw many other colleges compete for the trophy.

Large campus area, top-notch placements, hostels and mess food can be improved.
Placements: Due to less number of branches, placements are excellent. In this year (2025), 97.76% of students got placed. 38 students got above 50+ LPA. The highest salary is 67.5LPA, and average salary is 28 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Cisco, etc. Almost 80-85% of students got internships. Top role offered is SDE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but the boys hostels are not so good because the hostels require renovation as they get older. All the necessary facilities are available for living in hostels, like Wi-Fi (sometimes there may be some problem but mostly good with upto 80-90 Mbps speed), classrooms are fully air-conditioned with proper sitting arrangements, and library is also there, which is also fully air-conditioned. Mess food is okay. Medical facilities are available, whenever required. All the sports grounds are available on the campus like basketball court, lawn tennis court, cricket ground, kabaddi ground, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and expert in their respective fields. About 80-85% faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are helpful for suggesting study materials, answering questions regarding the course, and solving doubts regarding academics. As it is an IIIT so the academics are hectic like other IIITs. In 1st semester, you may feel that the subjects are not relevant to your branch, but in further semester subjects will be branch-specific. Courses are really good and enough to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough. You may score high to study 1 day before exams (but not recommended). Pass percentage is 95-98%.
Other: I am a student of CSE branch. I chose this course because it is not much far from my home (I live in Delhi). The placements are really fascinating. Campus area is awesome like other IIIT, it is a government IIIT. Fee is lower than other IIITs. So CSE is considered a very good branch, no improvement is required in the mid-term exam. Campus is located on the main highway so the surroundings are really awesome. Fests and events are very enthusiastic and enjoyable, and famous artists come for concerts. All the management is done by students and SAC department.

Fantastic placements in 2025, but I am dissatisfied with the hostel.
Placements: The percentage of people placed is about 97%. The highest is 56.5 LPA, and the lowest is about 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Samsung, Atlassian, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, and Oracle. I think the percentage of people who got internships is about 90%; they mostly got them from the same companies that offered those placements at startups. The most common roles offered for my course are product manager and software engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a huge library and labs for each professor and their research. We also have Wi-Fi in hostels and in the academic block, where all the departments and lecture halls are present. We have various types of classrooms of differing capacities, ranging from 60 to 200, some of which have plug points at each seat. Each classroom is enabled by Wi-Fi. The first-year hostel is very good, and the hostels from the 2nd year onwards are average. The mess quality keeps varying, but it is mostly good. There is a dedicated health center, and there are facilities for various sports.
Faculty: Some professors are good, some just do it for the job. The course curriculum is updated every 4-5 years and is very up to date and relevant The pass percentage is about 90% on the first try and exams and grading is fairly easy and tests the comprehensive understanding of the course.
Other: I chose this course simply because it was the one with the highest placement, which I was getting through the JEE. The things I wish were better are the hostels, and I would also like it if the number of selections were increased.
