Everything is good in our college.

Placements: I am a student of 2019 MBA batch. Around 75% of the students easily got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered in our college is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Companies which visit here to offer placements for MBA department are TCS, HDFC, PwC, Jaro, Axiom, etc. Companies which visit here to offer placements for engineering are Google, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Axtria, etc. All students easily got internships, and companies which offer internships are Aditya Birla, Cadbury, Lenovo, PwC, etc. Roles offered are financial analyst, business analyst, customer relations, SDE, etc. Our college is good for engineering compared to the MBA.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good here such as Wi-Fi, library, sports complex, gym, swimming pool, cafeteria and mess. There are moderate medical facilities, along with an ambulance. Every type of lab is available for engineering courses such as chemistry lab, computer science lab and VLSI lab. There are also highly air-conditioned classrooms, entrepreneur cell, etc.

Faculty: Every faculty member in our college is well qualified, more experienced and supportive in nature. Their teaching skills are excellent. The course curriculum is good in time and makes students ready for the corporate world. After that, everything depends on students how to use all facilities.

Other: Many events and fests are organised in a year, and the ROI of this college is excellent.

It is a small family and an intensive experience.

Placements: TCS, Nagarro, Axis Bank Ltd were the major companies among others, that came for campus placement during my time. Most of the students got placed. The annual package ranged from 3 to 6 Lacs. Some companies also had a training period while others did not.

Infrastructure: Being an institute of national importance, IIITM Gwalior provides the best of facilities; be it academic, experimental, recreational or sports. As far as hostels are concerned, single seater accommodation is provided to all students, except for the first year undergraduate students.

Faculty: Being an autonomous institution, IIITM Gwalior has a unique curriculum and pedagogy. The faculty members are one of the best in their respective fields/domains. The teaching experience at the institute is also complemented by visiting faculty members and guest lectures.

ABV-IITM is an amalgamation of technology, management and human values.

Placements: Integrated courses (UG+PG 5 years) and postgraduate (2 years) courses bag the highest paying jobs in the field of communications, network, security, finance, and operations. Internships are offered in PSUs and corporates. IIT Delhi is the chief mentor offering research internships. The placement staff are highly active and corporate.

Infrastructure: The campus has all the necessary facilities. Being a government funded institution, it has a lot of area and subsidised rates for every service. There are single rooms for every student and no restrictions on electronic gadgets. The mess food is far better than other institutions with student committee. There is a canteen along with milk and ice cream parlour, juice parlour along with access to local food vendors. There are a salon and shopping complex along with sports complex, bank branch, post office, a dispensary with ambulance service, round the campus golf cart service, and bus facility every two hours to commute to the railway station. There is high security system with modern face detection and fingerprint attendance system.

Faculty: All the faculty members are PhD holders from IITs or Central Universities. Regular guest lectures and visiting faculty from corporates and MHRD give students insights of the world outside. The curriculum is approved by MHRD, and research work is heavily focused upon for all branches. Patents have already been granted to many students and assistance for the preparation of government exams is also available. M.Tech and PhD students are entitled stipend from MHRD. The stress free learning environment allows students to choose their area of interests and bring about new changes.

Other: Being a fully residential college, one can find social activities and events taking place every now and then.

Not a good institute for pursuing MBA

Placements: Placements in IIITM for MBA are just not good. Hardly one or two good companies visit the campus and select a few students. Not recommended to anyone who really wants to learn and get something good. Do not go for the statistics they show as the highest package till now is just 6 LPA and not more than that.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is no doubt very good. It is quite a big campus and the greenery is worth watching. Anyone can fall in love with the campus of this Institution as it has been spread over quite a large area. The hostels are also quite well-built and spacious.

Faculty: The faculty team consists of all the high-level PhDs from good institutions and are quite nice but the course curriculum is not up to the mark. One who wants to have a specialization cannot seek an education here as that is not what is seen here. It should be more informative and definitely more specialization-based along with industrial visits.

MBA experience at ABVIIITM.

Placements: I was placed in the first company that came for recruitment. The average package is around 4.2 LPA which is not bad as compared to the ROI. Companies like Religare, Mu Sigma, TCS and Start Beans etc showed up. For a crowd of 120 people in the MBA batch, 30+ companies showed up. However, it is a collaborative effort of placement coordinators and placement cell.

Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure. Asia's largest library is being built there on the campus. 148 acres big campus, 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. The canteen area is nice. Academic block is one of the best I ever saw in any college. The sports complex is big and we host a national level sports festival named Twaran every year. Over 50 plus students from various colleges participate.

Faculty: There is a mix of amazing and average faculty. Faculty members are helpful and are guidance providers. 1. Faculty members are available for consultation post classes. 2. Some of the visiting faculty members are very well known and have been invited from premium institutions and organisations which brings a good exposure to students.

With this percentile in CAT, I don't think, you will get a good college. I think you should try hard and give the next attempt and get 95-100 percentile then you can get a good college for MBA or you can go in high fee private colleges.

You have a decent score in CAT you can try for ITM Mumbai, Christ University Bangalore, XIME Bangalore, XIMR Mumbai, BIMTECH Noida, ICFAI Hyderabad, ASB Coimbatore, NIA Pune,SIES Mumbai and NL Dalmia Mumbai.
