Review of Atmiya University.
Placements: In our final year, we were waiting for college placements and thinking some good company will visit here to recruit us. But there no single company visited here. College charges Rs. 8,000 for placements in the 1st year, but all of our money gets lost. We did not get that money back.
Infrastructure: Atmiya College has a very good infrastructure for the electrical branch. There is a good library facility which is equipped with all the books for our branch. There are around 8 labs for doing practicals with good machines. The library has a kindle facility so that you can read any E-book. It has good classrooms with projector facility. It has an air-conditioned reading room facility which is open from 7 AM to 9 PM.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and always cleared our doubts in a very effective way. Our HOD is very helpful and always treat us as a friend. All the teachers are qualified with master engineering, and some have completed their PhD.
Other: The electrical engineer has good scope in private as well as government sector. If they want to open their own shop of electrical things, they need not write any exam. They get a free license form government.

Atmiya has good infrastructure and good faculty providing good education and knowledge.
Placements: The training and placement cell is well-equipped with facilities where an individual can nurture his growth to the minimum. Experienced and highly qualified trainers provide hands-on training for students on aptitude followed by the series of mock tests and paper solutions to get placed in various companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Atmiya University is good. I have never seen such an infrastructure, and it is very good. There are many Wi-Fi facilities. Different buildings have separate Wi-Fi facilities. There are different Wi-Fi connectivities for students and faculty. There is a huge garden. There are separate canteens for girls, boys and faculty members. All the labs have modern machines and tools.
Faculty: In Atmiya, all the faculty members are good and knowledgeable. If we have any queries, they are always ready to solve it. The strength of students is always high because the college is located in the centre of Rajkot. The college organises many industrial visits.

The college is decent. Faculty are average. Placements are poor. There are only a few facilities.
Placements: Only two companies named Reliance and TCS have visited the campus to hire the students of our senior batch. They have conducted a test, and only 10% of students cleared that test. The placement rate is around 10%. Only a few companies visited the campus. There is an active placement cell. The placement cell of MBA and MCA departments is good. They don't provide any internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is better than average colleges. It is divided into two sections. Both the right and left sections look similar. There is a garden, but students are restricted to sit there except for the break time. There are three separate canteens for boys, girls and faculty members.
Faculty: Faculty members of our electrical department are experienced and very knowledgeable in their fields. They teach us until each and every student gets the idea about the concept. They complete the syllabus in every semester which is very impressive. Some of the faculty members doing their masters and PhDs. The respected principal sir visits each class every week. The head of the department take the lectures and is very humble and friendly. There is a general department in which the faculty members of the first year take their lectures. The faculty members are very strict about the exam system. It is mandatory for the students to maintain 75% attendance. The students who failed to maintain the minimum attendance criteria are not allowed to fill their exam form. Students need to score 12 out of 30 marks to clear the mid-semester examination. If the student failed to score those marks, he/she gets an internal backlog. They consider it as a backlog if he/she fails to score the minimum marks either in internal, or university examination. Faculty members keep informing students about real-time facts and modern aspects of particular concepts which they are studying.
Other: Every year, a techfest is held at the university in March or April. The scholarship is not provided to anyone except for the students who belong to scheduled castes.

Don't go for Atmiya College for studies.
Placements: There are placements, and some companies visited the companies this year, but there are no placements for our seniors. Two companies came, they offered a salary of Rs. 9000 per month and also wanted a bond for three years. Before 2016, lots of companies came to the college.
Infrastructure: Atmiya has good infrastructure. It has a good library which opens in early in the morning and closes at night 9:00 pm. It has lots of labs for electrical and also computer labs. There are four large auditoriums and also good accommodation.
Faculty: There are no good faculty members to teach us. They do not teach at last semesters and do not complete syllabus on time. Also, there are lots of issues regarding this. In the first two years, they teach us and pay attention to us, but after that, all things will be bad.

The college has an amazing infrastructure.
Placements: LNT company and Luthra and Tribes company had visited the campus. A glass industry with fresher engineering placement by Rs. 20,000 per month was offered. At least 80% percent or above can apply in mock placement test held in our college. All company offers a salary package of Rs. 20,000 per month for a fresher and Rs. 40,000 to 50,000 per month for an experienced person.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. There are facilities like a lab with lots of machines, a big classroom with a projector, and library with a computer facility. There are too big sports ground for cricket, tennis, and many more games. There is a 2 storied canteen for all of us like a student, teachers, and visitors.
Faculty: In my electrical engineering department, all the faculty were done master in different subjects. The quality of teaching is just amazing. They use to teach by the projector, PPT, and by the board. There are total 12 teachers in my department. We have many industry placements done in my college.
