The college is strict in terms of dress code, the faculty is okay, but the placements are average.

Placements: Only 9% of students were placed. There is no information on the highest, lowest, or average package offered. The same goes for top recruiting companies. We didn't have an option for getting internships, so we had to do off-campus internships. Also, there is no information on top roles offered.

Infrastructure: There are psychology labs for doing practicals. Classrooms are spacious, and the library is okay. In terms of the quality of food, in the mess it was not good, but the quality of food in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are there, like one doctor who comes in the evening. There are no proper sports facilities given to students who are not players.

Faculty: In terms of being helpful, it depends on how they behave with the students. In terms of qualification, the teachers in the main campus are qualified enough. In the second campus, the teachers are qualified, that is, the hiring is done soon after they finish their Masters. The course curriculum isn't relevant enough, so it doesn't make the students industry-ready because some students prefer to do a Master's after finishing their undergraduate degree. The semester exams aren't that difficult. The pass percentage is around 50%.

Review of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women.

Placements: Students who are interested in psychology can apply to our college according to the seats allotted in the psychology department. The students are well skilled with workshops, internships and more value-based courses inside the college .

Infrastructure: Very poor hostel and some good infrastructure. The hostel is very strict and students are not allowed to do anything without the consent of their parents. Outside foods are strictly not allowed in our college hostel. A vegetarian meal is provided for hostellers and they conduct prayer every morning .

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, according to our department psychology. The curriculum is easy and there is no street to study. Students are allowed to study different course papers to develop their skills in the field they choose to study. Exams are free and easy.

Less fun and less festives but good faculty members and effective placement.

Placements: The Placement cell is enormously active which gives various opportunities to develop as well as create platform for various jobs. In my field, the core is very less but other companies like Wipro, cognizant, etc. Are there. It also gives good oppofor a writer to work in dinamalar.

Infrastructure: The infrasis quite good. But there is only one canteen which is not enoufor the strength it has. Some blocks are very old which needs renovation. For psychology course, it still need lab development. The hostel is quite strict as for as I know. The new hostel is good but the old building is little congested.

Faculty: The faculty members are extremely friendly to us comparing to other departments. They guide you well and clear your doubts. The curriculum is structured well enough. The exam pattern is easy once we practice in managing our time. You should score minimum 50% to get pass.

Other: I chose psychology completely based on my interest. The best thing abouthe course on the departments that they won't give you loads and loads of work. And the staffs are very approachable. The festives are quite less but they celebrate hostel day, Kalaivizha and stalls at times. The fun is literally less here, so I don't recommend it to those who want to enjoy their college life to the fullest.

I do not recommend joining this college.

Placements: About 99% of students get placed. The salary packages vary depending on the field and location. Students get placed in good firms and reputed companies. All students get internships in average companies. Top roles offered are researcher, doctor, professor, teacher, and counselor.

Infrastructure: The departments suffer from limited resources. The library lacks a sufficient collection of up-to-date books and has limited seating. Many classrooms are in despair with broken furniture. The lab is poorly maintained and has limited equipment. Hostel food is very bad and unhygienic. The canteen may offer limited food options. Medical facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers, HODs, and trainers are very poor. Teaching is not good. Exams are useless. Students are not ready for the industry.

Other: Psychology course is good but our college, teachers, and syllabus are poor.
