A little advancement is needed in the institute of biomedical science.
Placements: Around 30-40% of the students are placed every year. The highest salary offered is around Rs.35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Recruiting companies are Cipla, Glenmark, Sun pharma, Bharat Biotech, R&R1, Dr. Reddy Lab, and Johnson. Around 10% of the students got internships in Sunpharma and Cipla. Roles offered are as a researcher, analyst, medical representative, and scientist.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped labs with a Wi-Fi facility and an innovation center with a training & placement center. Our department also has a central library facility. Hostel is quite good, but the food served is not much good. Canteen is available but it is too expensive.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified in our department, and their methods of teaching are excellent. But there are no teachers for all the subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and very useful for further study. The difficulty level is intermediate where more than 80% of the students got passed every year.
Other: This course has great career opportunities and a much good scope in many fields of life sciences. I would suggest the curriculum should be updated as the old curriculum is still going and teaching methodology should also change. Every year, college organise annual function program and department organises seminars on different life sciences topics in by various students.

Average College with Everything Average.
Placements: 20% students got placed from my course. The highest Package- 2.5 lac the lowest Package- 1.9 lac Average Package- 2.2 lac. No top recruiting companies but we were placed in R1 RCM. No Internship provided by University. Job Role- Scientific and Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: Labs are well furnished with the latest techniques but only in our department. That is not the same with rest of the departments. Classrooms and library are fine enough but need improvement. No Wi-Fi available. Canteen food is stale good with HIGH cost. Never tried Hostel mess food but I can tell it's just the same as College canteen.
Faculty: Some teachers are awesome with great knowledge and teaching experience and are always ready to help but some are just the worst you can ever imagine. The course curriculum needs improvement to make students ready to deal with modern time problems.
Other: The course is very new to Indian Education and that's why I chose it on the first place. Moreover you can opt for many other related courses for higher education as Biomedical sciences is merger of Biology and Medical Science, so you have a broad spectrum of choices available. But clearly not from BU again if you have already completed your B.Sc. The course should be mostly focused on practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge and the curriculum is a bit outdated. There aren't much events and programs and there is NO scholarship for you if you are in General category or if you are from any other state instead of UP. Moreover, the campus is NOT AT ALL queer friendly, so if you are out and proud about your sexuality and gender identity then please do rethink about joining this University.
