The final admission to MSc programme is either on the basis of merit or University-level entrance test score. Specialisations for which merit based admission is given are: Home Science (HDFS) and Home Science (Food & Nutrition). For the remaining 26 specialisations entrance test scores are considered.

Bundelkhand University Jhansi offers admission via entrance exam or qualifying exam scores of candidates. For courses such as MCA, BCA (Hons), BCA, MCom, etc., based on merit. Aspirants applying for these courses does not require passing an entrance exam. The requirement of entrance test scores varies course-wise.

Bundelkhand University has not released the placement report 2023. However, NIRF 2023 has released the placement report. According to that report, there was a 6% increase in the median package offered to UG (3-year) students and a 13% increase in the median package offered to PG (2-year) students. The report also states that around 1,299 UG and 751 PG students were placed during Bundelkhand University placement 2022.

Bundelkhand University releases the application form usually in April. As per the schedule, below are tentative dates for admission:

NTA had started the CUET PG 2026 application process on December 14, 2025, at the official website for admissions to the master's degree programmes offered at various participating institutes.

CUET PG registration process 2026 was completely online, and candidates could fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2026 was January 23, 2026. Originally, the last date of application was January 14, 2026, which was extended till January 20 and January 23. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 11.50 PM.

No, Bundelkhand University does not accept CUET score for BTech admission. CUET is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA in online mode.

The Bundelkhand University JEE Main Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BE/BTech courses for all rounds and categories under the Home State quota. As per the last round closing ranks, the cutoff ranged from 216275 to 1281371, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission for the General category students belonging to the All India quota.

Candidates who wish to apply for Bundelkhand University BTech programme must complete a minimum of Class 12. Below is detailed eligibility for BTech course:

• Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate for BTech ECE, Electronics and Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering.
• For all other specialisations, candidates who have passed Class 12 with Biology can also apply provided they have secured at least 50% aggregate.

The Institute of Engineering & Technology offers BTech programme in seven different specialisations. The final selection in some specialisations is on the basis of the AKTU Entrance Test score, whereas for some specialisations the university also conducts its entrance test. The specialisations where both AKTU Entrance Test and University-level entrance test are accepted, the seats are equally divided among these two qualified candidates.  In such cases, 50% of total seats are offered to candidates qualifying for the AKTU Entrance Test and 50% to candidates qualifying for the University-level entrance test.
