Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Haryana is NAAC accredited government university. It offers many courses to the candidates who want to take admission in CDLU. The annual tuition fees for the B.Tech course is INR 160000. The fees for the B.Tech course is quite affordable as compared to the B.Tech courses of other colleges. The eligibility criteria for the students who want to join the B.Tech course is that they must have scored more than 45% marks in their 12th board examination or any other equivalent 10+2 examination from any recognised education board of India. They admit students on the basis of their performance in the JEE Mains and HSTES entrance examination.

As per official source, CDLU admissions 2025 will be open soon, candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University. The GATE 2025 registrations are open for admission to the M.Tech course.

The Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) that the students at CDLU can avail of is an inititative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Students belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) and other backward castes (OBC) are eligible to apply for PMS. Applicants must be pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses from a recognised institute. Applicants must have a domicile of Haryana and their family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs per annum.

National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2026 registration in first week of March. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration will be notiifed aling with the last date for payment of fee. 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

In case a candidate decides to withdraw his/her admission in a particular programme offered at CDLU, the following fee refund conditions will apply:
(i) If a candidate leaves any programme, the entire fee deposited by the candidate will be refunded upto September 30 after deducting processing fee of INR 1000

(ii) If the admission of a student is cancelled by the college, for no fault of his/her, the dues
paid by him/her will be refunded

(iii) Caution money/Security Deposit is refundable if application is received by December 31 of the year of the completion of course.

CDLU is a government university established by the Government of Haryana under Act 9 of 2003 passed by the State Legislature. It is accredited with ‘B’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council  (NAAC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities  (AIU). CDLU is approved by the University Grant Commission  (UGC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The official placement report or brochure is not out yet. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2022 which includes the 2021 placement statistics for various UG and PG courses. Out of 88 UG (3-year) students, 3 were placed during 2021 placements. For PG (2-year) courses, 2 out of 718 students were placed. The average salary pacakge across all BSc specialisations is INR 1.2 LPA, as per the NIRF Report 2022. MDU Rohtak also offers BSc and BSc (Hons) in specialisation like Computer Science, Medical, Non-Medical, Biotechnology, etc. MDU BSc fee ranges between INR 2,400 and INR 1.8 Lakh. The average salary package for various courses ranges between INR 1.3 LPA - INR 3.9 LPA. Among CDLU and MDU for BSc, candidates must choose the one that offers their desired specialisation. The overall rating for CDLU was 3.6/5. On the other hand, MDU got an overall rating 3.7/5.
