NO, you cannot get direct admission in Central University of Jammu for B.Tech. It no longer accepts admission through JEE mains. You are supposed to qualify through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by National Testing Agency. It is national level exams. By qualifing this exam and clearing the cutoff of CUJ you can get admission in B.Tech. 

Otherwise you should have completed a 3-year Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or college in fields such as Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, or ICT. Your Diploma marks should be at least 60%  (or 55% if you belong to the SC/ST category). The university conducts an entrance examination for lateral entry admissions. The entire cost of tuition for Central University of Jammu's B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is INR 5.28 Lakh. In addition, a one-time admission fee of INR 20,750 is required.
