CGC University, Mohali (formerly known as Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri currently has one campus based in Jhanjeri in the state of Punjab. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) and now as a university.

In July 2025, the Punjab Assembly passed the CGC University, Mohali Bill, officially establishing it as a private university under state legislation. This status allows CGC to independently offer degrees and design its academic programs. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a private university, not as a deemed-to-be university.
