Mechanical Engineering department is good, and all faculty members are Ph.D. holders in their field.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed from our course at CGC, Jhanjeri. Top recruiting companies for Mechanical Engineering are Ashok Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, etc. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 4 LPA. 90% of students got internships in MNCs from the Mechanical Engineering department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Mechanical Engineering department is good. The department is good and should have well-equipped smart classrooms, seminar halls with projectors, whiteboards, and a sound system. Laboratories like thermodynamics lab, fluid mechanics lab, and strength of materials lab are available. The hostel facilities include single and double sharing rooms with ventilation, lighting, and a furnished and attached shared bathroom, with consistence water supply.

Faculty: The syllabus is designed and updated. The teachers help in teaching advanced subjects and electrical, guiding research, and final year projects. They are M.Tech and Ph.D. scholars who help in teaching courses and lab subjects, and assist with academic activities, including military students. The curriculum for the first year students has a common foundation for all branches, like Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electronics, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Programming, Engineering Drawing, etc. The 2nd year core Mechanical subjects are Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Resistance of Materials, Manufacturing Technology, Material Science, Metrology, etc. The mid exam is of 24 marks. There are also a lab exam, assignments, projects, and continuous internal assessments.

The college offers the best quality education as well as top companies for placements.

Placements: Around 90 percent of students get placed. The highest average package is 8.05 LPA. The package for a junior manager in a company named TATA. The average package is 7.2 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Around 91 percent of students had internships in the Aura discipline.

Infrastructure: Our college is one of the best colleges and offers the best facilities like a soccer playground, well-equipped laboratories, clean washrooms, and hostel premises. I, for one, feel lucky to be part of this changing movement. We also have strong Wi-Fi for free.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very supportive and good mentors as well. Lectures follow the syllabus and make sure all students understand. Exams are average, and invigilators are very strict during exams. Proper school uniforms and cameras are always active.

Other: Students are very friendly at college, and there are extra activities given to students. Students not only focus on their studies but also on participating in another extra curriculum to show their talent.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Many top companies visit this campus like Adobe and Infosys. It provides the best and highest chance of getting placed after college. The college also contains a skill center which develops our skills and practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: It has a top-class campus with many facilities other than teaching blocks like a canteen, food court, cafe, etc. The new hostel is a great place to stay. The new hostel facilities are wonderful with spacious rooms and a good study environment. Labs are equipped with updated machines.

Faculty: It has a balanced course curriculum in both theory and practical knowledge. Faculty members are good here. The course curriculum here includes studies and practicals that are performed in the laboratory. The course curriculum also includes an industrial visit which gives an overview of the practical knowledge.

Other: I recommend this campus as it is value for money and is also increasing campus.

Beautiful campus and good crowd.

Placements: 80% of the students of the previous batch got placement in the top companies. Top companies such as IBM, TCS, Amazon, Federal Bank, Capgemini, Wipro, and many more come to the college for placement drives. The highest placement package is 53 LPA. The average placement package is 7 to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CGC Mohali is modern and well maintained. Hostel facilities are good. Separate hostel blocks for girls and boys. Hostel rooms are large and well-equipped with all the amenities that are necessary for students. There is an attached food mess.

Faculty: Faculty members hold doctorate degrees. They follow a practical-based approach to make us understand the course curriculum easily. The exams are not so difficult. But if we do not study well, we find exams difficult. Teachers always support the students and give proper guidance to the students.

Placements: Very good placement. Superb, such a good college which helps students in every situation. Also gives good placements. There is equal and proper placement for every single student, which makes this college the best college in Punjab. The highest placement package is 53 LPA.

Infrastructure: Special care of cleanliness. Good and well-maintained and clean buildings. Renovation of all buildings when needed. Have sweepers to clean buildings and roads. Proper management of security. The buildings are airy, well-ventilated, and accommodate a large crowd. Extremely beautiful and large campus. Well-maintained infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are cooperative and friendly. New ways of teaching and the best technology. Have many new ways to teach students. Very polite staff.
