Placements: 85 to 90 percent of students eligible from the CSE branch successfully secure job offers during the campus placement drives so that's why I chose this university. I recommend this university to all junior friends to grab more opportunities and get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The campus features Wi-Fi. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms are well cleaned and comfortable for students for study so I am very comfortable in class.
Faculty: The teaching staff of CGC University consists of qualified professionals with many professors holding or actively pursuing their Ph.D. degree, while junior faculty members possess a Master's degree M.Tech. Teachers are very helpful to students with study matters.
Other: Most of the students choose B.Tech CSE in CGC University Mohali primarily due to the campus placement record in North India, and the best company opportunities in the IT sector.

I'm happy to have been admitted to this university. Faculty members are so good and friendly.
Placements: Maximum students are placed in this course. The highest package is 1 crore per annum. The lowest package is 10 LPA. Well-developed companies recruit from our course. Above 85 percent of students got placement in well-developed companies.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are so good. The university's library is also good where we can find any kind of books or novels that we need for ourselves. Hostel food is so good. Medical emergencies are available 24 hours. Sports and games in this part of the university are also good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is so good. Teachers are knowledgeable. The course makes students industry-ready. When we talk about exams it's all based on the syllabus that teachers completed on time. All teachers are disciplined and serious about their syllabus. Exams are based on our syllabus. Our teaching staff is also good. They are so friendly and understanding.
Other: I want to become an engineer as well as a businesswoman in B. Tech. There are lots of options for my future and my passion. In CGC, labs and classrooms are so good. There is a lot of community. Our course teaches us a lot. Events are so cool because we are Gen Z and it provides everything that we need. Scholarships are available and activities are provided.

Placements: Placement at CGC University is so good. The highest package at this university is 1 crore per annum. The average package at this university is 70 LPA. The lowest package at this university is 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and TCS are the top recruiters for B.Tech course at CGC University.
Infrastructure: CGC has modern infrastructure. They provide labs for practicals, communication skills, and coding. There are smart classrooms and they teach on a smart board and provide air conditioning in all classes. For study they provide a library where all the books we need are available. The campus garden looks so beautiful and feels close to nature. In the hotel, there are also many facilities, and entry is with an ID card. Rooms are so clean. Study table for every student in their room. Food is also so good, tasty, and healthy.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified in their field and knowledgeable. They are all very supportive. They clear all doubts of students. CGC University not only gives a degree. They give more confidence, personality, and well prepared for internships. They go for industrial visits to grow the students' knowledge. Exams are very smooth. All questions are taught by teachers in class. They teach everything in our syllabus no single topic is skipped for self-study. All topics are taught very clearly.
Other: I chose this course because of B.Tech CSE. There are many opportunities for jobs with the highest package and high-profile jobs, so I chose this course.

Overall, as a first-year student, my experience is good.
Placements: As a first-year student, I don't know much about placements but I hear good things and good reviews that's why I came to this college. The highest package from our college is 1 crore per annum. The average package at CGC University, Mohali generally ranges between 7 LPA-8 LPA, especially for B.Tech (CSE).
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college are amazing. Classrooms are well maintained. Library is my personal favorite place because it's a peaceful place. In library I study properly without any distraction. The mess food is good, everyday we enjoy different meals, especially sweets.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. They explain the concepts clearly. They encourage students to participate and are always willing to clear doubts. The teaching experience is good. The exam system is well-organized. The schedule and instructions are clearly communicated to students.
Other: One thing that I like or enjoy is the event or campus fest.

Good mass recruitment and easy exams. Strict rules, high batch competition, and average mess food.
Placements: CGC provides consistent company footfall ensuring reliable entry-level IT jobs at 3.5 LPA-5 LPA, but massive batch competition means landing a high-paying product role depends entirely on your own independent upskilling. Good mass recruitment brings high footfall.
Infrastructure: Academic facilities cover all syllabus basics with decent labs and libraries. Hostels provide essential security and amenities. However, repetitive mess food, strict curfews, and compact rooms lead many students to switch to private PGs after their year.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful. Exams (MSTs/finals) are easy to clear via class notes for high CGPA, but the curriculum is theory-heavy and requires strict 75 percent attendance alongside self-study to gain industry-ready skills. Supportive faculty and easy exams make maintaining a good CGPA easy.

This college is very good in terms of placement, infrastructure, teaching, college life, and fest.
Placements: More than 90 percent of students are able to get placement here. The highest package is 1 crore per annum. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, HCL, TCL, Capgemini, etc. Many students got internships. Top roles are like software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel is nice. Food is very good. The room is very clean, and the warden is good. There is a lot of space and we can play any sport there. We enjoy ourselves a lot there. We get meals 4 times a day there. Laundry service is also free. We have a gym which is also free for every hosteller.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable. They are open to communicating with students. They help us solve our problems. They are not strict with students and treat everyone equally. I am doing CSE and I get teachers related to my subject like Maths, English, QA/LR, Physics, etc. All are very good in their roles.

The college is good in terms of ROI.
Placements: Most of the students got placed as per my knowledge. Recently almost 20 students got placed in Blinkit and many of them were friends of mine. Math and Ericsson are amongst the top companies here. Internship and placement preparation starts here as early as possible.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is solid both in class and hostel. I have been living in the hostel since the start of my course. They offer great and furnished rooms to live in. The sitting area and classes are very comfortable. My hostel room is an AC room and is very comfortable in summer.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cool. They help with every task given to you, both academic and non-academic. They teach with proper PPTs and in the preferred language, English or Hindi. The passing marks in my course are 24 out of 60 and are easily achievable.

Great campus and helpful teachers for freshers.
Placements: I'm still in my first year. Placements haven't started for my batch yet. But during orientation, we got to know that the placement records here are really strong. Almost 80–85% of students get placed every year. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus regularly. The average package is around 4-5 LPA, but seniors who work hard can easily get much higher packages and good internships too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is really good. Classrooms are big and clean. Labs have proper working computers. Wi-Fi works well across the campus. The library has plenty of books. It is a peaceful place to study. Hostel facilities are also nice, with clean rooms. The mess food is decent enough to eat daily. The canteen has good options, and basic medical help is always available. There are big grounds for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and friendly. They know their subjects well. Teaching quality is good. They explain concepts in an easy to understand way. The course curriculum feels pretty relevant. It covers basic practical skills to make us ready for future jobs. Semester exams are not too difficult if you attend classes regularly and study simple notes. Almost everyone passes easily if they study well.

It depends upon your domicile.
B.Tech admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main for Punjab domicile candidates.
For the candidates belonging to other states, the admission to B.Tech is offered on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling conducted by PTU.
