Yes, candidates must have a valid score in UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF), SET/ SLET, GATE or any other examination to apply for admission in the PhD course of School of Architecture, CMR University. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to the PhD programme. 

School of Economics and Commerce, CMR University admission to PhD programme is based on an entrance test conducted by the university. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round. The exact date, time and venue of the exam is communicated to each shortlisted candidate. The final results are announced once the scores obtained by the candidates in their PG examination, entrance examination and personal interview are consolidated.

Aspirants must complete a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled and other categories of candidates) or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale to apply for the School of Architecture, CMR University PhD programme. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

School of Economics and Commerce, CMR University offers admission to PhD programme based on scores in entrance test conducted by the university. The PhD entrance examination comprises two papers-General Aptitude & Research Methodology and  domain-specific subject as studied at the postgraduate level. Both the papers consist of 60 multiple-choice questions and the time allotted for each paper is one hour.

Candidates who have passed a master’s degree or a professional degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale are eligible to apply for PhD programme.  Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. The placement data has not been released by the School. However, the NIRF report 2025 incorporates the 2024 placement stats. As per the report, the highest median package offered during School of Legal Studies, CMR University placements 2024 was INR 5.50 LPA and was offered to BA LLB/ BBA LLB students. For LLB and LLM courses, the median package stood at INR 5.20 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. In addition, 41 LLB, 80 BA LLB/ BBA LLB and 26 LLM students were placed during placements 2024.
