Things about Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg.

Faculty: Some teachers’ behavior is good, but not all. The teaching quality is not very good. Students can study from YouTube and easily pass exams. After the first year, the course becomes more relevant to industry standards. The difficulty level is average. The passing marks are 35 in theory. Students must pass practical exams separately.

Good infrastructure and worth education.

Faculty: The curriculum is so relevant to the industry. Teachers are so qualified and experienced. They are always connected with the tech world in real time. They are very helpful and supportive in nature. Semester exams are difficult sometimes, but the teaching quality is so good. More than 85 percent of students qualified in their semester exams.

Average placements for the EEE branch, but the college life is decent, and faculty is helpful.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They have good knowledge of their subjects. They are helpful if students approach them with doubts after class hours. The course curriculum is relevant according to university guidelines, but it does not make students 100% industry-ready, so they need to learn additional skills on their own. The semester examinations are quite tough. Students cannot pass by studying only one day before the exam. The pass percentage in our branch is around 75–80 percent.

Be the hardcore civil engineer.

Faculty: Teachers are really good. They are very well qualified, and the quality of teaching is top-notch. They are a bit strict on checking, and it's not very easy to get marks. We had various training during our curriculum, like Python, AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP. We spent 15 days in IIT Kanpur for such training and also went to NIT Rourkela. These experiences were also very good. The course is very relevant, and you will build a good foundation for the industry.

Good placements, supportive faculty and decent campus life.

Faculty: The maximum number of teachers are helpful and available in the college to assist students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching is also good. However, some faculty members, like the assistant faculty, are not that experienced in teaching, but they are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 70 to 80%, which can go higher in some departments.

It is a good college, with excellent faculty and placements, and great campus life.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and deliver excellent teaching with practical insights. All teachers are really good at explaining concepts and are approachable for doubts. The curriculum is relevant and gives a basic idea of industry requirements, but students need to work on skills themselves. Exams are not very tough. If you study regularly, the pass percentage is quite high.

Once you take admission in the college, you will forget your hometown.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with 10-15 years of experience. Also, they are very helpful towards students and provide the necessities to the students. The academic calendar is provided at the start of the session so that the students can plan their schedule accordingly. Also, there will always be 10-15 toppers from the college. The college has very good faculty members, and they help students at every level.

The college is perfect for skill development, to get placed, or to start your startup.

Faculty: Actually, faculty members are very nice in my branch, all the faculty members are very nice. Literally, I loved them. The curriculum is also up to date. Semester exams are on time, and they are difficult. I think it is very hard to pass the exam in 1st year, like Physics and BEE subjects.

The college is best for placement opportunities and has AICTE approved idea lab.

Faculty: Faculty are great and concerned about practical learning. Professors focus on learning rather than completing the syllabus to make sure every student has a proper understanding of the subject. After completion of 2 units in every subject, they take a class test of 40 marks as per the CSVTU curriculum. The faculty members are concerned about students' results and placement opportunities.
