Only a few companies come for placements and that too gives a very low package of about INR 1.2–1.5 LPA. There are some internship opportunities. Students have to either continue their education or switch their field in order to get a job.

Admission is based both on merit and entrance exams.Central University of Himachal Pradesh takes  admission now through its own entrance exam for UG as well as PG i.e.CUET-UG and CUET-PG. National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2026 registration in first week of March. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration will be notiifed aling with the last date for payment of fee. 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.
