DY Patil Agriculture and Technical University is one of the well known private university in India. The university offers various UG and PG courses in the field of Agriculture and Technology. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Architecture. All the courses are offered under the departments of civil engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, general engineering, chemical engineering and architecture.

Candidates must hold a valid MHT-CET/JEE Main (outside Maharashtra) and GATE score to apply for admission to UG and PG programs respectively.
Admission will be conducted through the counselling under Maharashtra Engineering Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the backward categories as per the rules of State Government.

This college is very famous for its agricultural courses and biology-related courses. But they have a record of the highest packages from their Computer science major students. It is in the aspirant's hands to decide the course suitable according to their interest and the conditions offered for that particular course in the institute. Usually the application forms for DY Patil Agriculture and Technical University are released in the first week of January. The applications forms release time is also depends to entrance exmas. For general UG courses the application forms release time depends on CUET/ NEET/ ICAR AIEEA exams timing, usually released in the month of June-August. Similarly, for engineering UG courses the application forms release time depends on JEE Mains timing. And for PG courses the application forms release time dependa on GATE/ MHTCET MTECH exams timing, usually in the month of February-March.
