MBA in Media Management - Batch of 2020
4.4
It is one of the best media colleges you can find in central India.
Placements: EMRC is more of a learning platform for filmmaking enthusiasts, not for placements. You can't think of getting surely placed after joining the college, there is a chance of getting placed but that is only 30%. Some big television companies do come there for placements but they come with very low salary packages.
Infrastructure: One can find one of the best facilities and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh. They have a good campus, a good garden to study, play, and relax. We have good classrooms, amazing productions, equipment & cool studios.
Faculty: Everything on the campus is awesome. Teachers are very experienced, knowledgeable, and professionals. Their teaching methods are very amazing and unique. They teach you in a very interesting and fun way that you can't think of skipping the class.
Other: I opted for this course because it is something that will allow you to bring your creative side to study with some good subjects.

The college has the best infrastructure, facilities, and faculty members with selective placements.
Placements: The top four media companies like Star, Zee, Sony, and Viacom 18, offer placements to our college students. Approximately 60% of students got placed. They offered the profile of creative and content writer for our students. The salary package offered is 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: In comparison to all university departments, our college provides us with the best facilities from the building infrastructure to every equipment we needed for our project. They also provide us with Wi-Fi facility, studios for production, and labs for post-production. Classrooms are neat and clean with regular maintenance.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very experienced in their particular field. They teach us the updated course curriculum which helps us as students get updated with the current trends in the industry. As I'm pursuing MBA in media management, faculty members share the best knowledge through practicals.

Dissatisfied, should have opted for another institute with a better crowd and creative teachers.
Placements: There are least chances of getting placed. Very few organisations visit the campus. The college didn't even provide summer internship referrals. Only 10 percent of the total were placed, rest all tried their luck at their own level. We have very bad communication regarding placement information,.They do not even have a placement cell of their own.
Infrastructure: There are wonderful audio-visual recording studios and 3D and 2D animation labs, but very less functionality, you won't be ever given a chance to record something of your own. A lot of permission and politics involved in getting a recording studio slot. Overall, the college has below average infrastructure.
Faculty: Except for two-three faculty members, no one is good. They are very old and pessimistic. They are using similar powerpoint presentations since the very advent of this institution, no renewal of the course and old approach, bad pedagogy even bad way of imparting.
Other: The only place to find all the wannabe kind of people who know nothing, no events and gatherings, no meets and no cool campus.

Very good college for your future.
Placements: At least 60 percent of students got placement. The highest placement was about 15 LPA. The top recruitment companies were in placement. About 30 to 40 percent of students got internships from my course and college, and they got much better roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by my college were the classrooms, which were very clean and look nice. There was also a big library, and all departments had separate buildings. Their labs were much better, and the quality of facilities was much better than other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified. Highly qualified teachers were present in the college. They helped students with knowledgeable studies. The teaching methods were very good. They made students industry-ready. The semester exams were quite difficult but also knowledgeable.
Other: I chose these courses because I needed to work in that field. There were no major things. I wished to improve events and festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, and campus surroundings. Scholarship activities were good enough.
