Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDU): A Comprehensive Review for B.Tech.
Placements: Placement is not that good, but if you are looking for something where you want free time and a relaxed environment, you should join DDU as an affordable and good option. There is no on-campus internship opportunity till now, but seniors are getting off-campus and performing very well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is kind of top-notch. Classrooms are empowered with smart boards and speakers, labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned. There are approximately 200 systems in the IET department (B.Tech department), which is pretty enough to perform any kind of practical work. Hostel is a big concern for this university; they don't provide hostels to students. Even in my batch (300 students), no more than ten got hostels.
Faculty: Mainly, exams are conducted in MCQ pattern, and the university has a very balanced life as there are many sports events going on a daily basis. For campus life, you can say one of the best campus lives is here. The reason is there are many other courses running in this university like B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and B.A. LL.B., which makes it pretty interactive, and the gender ratio of the university is also like 45% girls and 55% boys.
Other: Don't get scammed by people saying that they will make your admission in this university and ask money from you. Everything is fraud. Every student gets admission here only after giving the entrance exam and clearing the cutoff.

A proper reviews of DDU University Gorakhpur.
Placements: 70% of students who got internships from my courses are in more than one company such as PW, Wipro, TATA consultancy services (TCS), Tech Mahindra and Microsoft. And some are in Indian Railways. The roles they mainly offered are software engineer, Web development, software testing, and many more.
Infrastructure: A well-maintained lecture hall is provided for each individual department, And the whole campus is covered by Wi-Fi. Number of labs is proper for each department and a common library for everyone. The facilities provided like the hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable (some of them are doing research and some are Ph.D. Holders). Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam is tough in this college but the pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is in high demand in companies nowadays. A large number of events and fest are organised every year. Connectivity from the railway station is 0.5 km and from the bus station 0.05 km. A good amount of scholarships is provided by the state government ( which is category-wise).
