- Bachelor's degree with at least three (03) Courses each of one-year duration or six (06) Courses each of one-semester duration in Mathematics from a recognised University
- B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi
- 50% marks in aggregate for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS, 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD categories or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
