Yes, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers the facility of regional and study centres, which provide students with access to study materials, counselling, and other academic support. BAOU has established 7 regional centres and more than 270 study centres across the state of Gujarat. The university has jurisdiction over the whole state of Gujarat. BAOU was established in 1994 by the Government of Gujarat. It is a UGC-recognised university, and has also been accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A+'.

As per the BAOU MSW the course is offered in Gujarati-medium only. Hence, the students seeking admission shall be well-versed in the language. All the subjects taught during the course, including MSW programme is conducted in Gujarati. The two-year course shall be completed in a maximum of six years.
