The information about the centralised only technological University in Maharashtra.
Placements: Placement are good enough. About four to five companies do visit every year. There is placement for only last year students. No placement for third year students. Training and placement cell is in working condition. Slowly they are developing and making the number of companies more. One to two companies are consistent.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough but not sufficient. The number of classrooms is less. No of laboratories are less. Equipments in the laboratories are not in working condition. Library is good. There are ninety five thousand and five hundred fifty two books in the library. But still they are insufficient for the students. Electronic equipments like computers in the library, fans and tublights in the classroom are not working. So students have to carry their personal laptops. The plugs in the Campus are not working. The infrastructure is good to see but it's porous from inside. The number of hostels for girls are four while for boys, only two.
Faculty: Faculty is good enough. Faculty for mechanical department is very good. For electrical department, only two Ph.D. faculty members are there. Rest of the classes are conducted by adhoc faculty members. Number of laboratory assistant and technicians are less. The mini project and final project assessment is poor. University does't help students in their extra curricular activities though it gets around five crore fund from the government.

The truth behind India's one of the technological universities.
Placements: The placements are not good as expected. Only 1 or 2 students will get select every year. The training and placement centre should develop a lot. The student-teacher interaction should increase. The number of students should involve themselves in the process of inviting the companies and facilities.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available for everyone in university. Now JIO Wi-Fi is also installed. The laboratories are kept good only by the mechanical department as the laboratories of electrical engineering department are not good. The instruments are not precise. The classrooms are not sufficient. There are 70-80 students in each class, and one teacher cannot interact with each student in 1-hour lecture.
Faculty: The faculty is good. But only half of the staff is qualified. Ad-hoc is taken on the contract basis. Only 2-3 faculty members are PhD holders, and rest are graduates only. The faculty is a bit helpful but not that knowledgeable because even they confused during lectures while teaching.

Yes, you can. All you need is to maintain an 8+ CGPA all through the First Year which makes you eligible for a branch change at the start of the next Academic Year.

Hello Hitesh, Please be specific with your question. If you are asking about backlogs and subjects of the current semester then it is allowed. Thank you.
