DTU - Delhi Technological University Answered Questions

It is a good branch. It has some of syllabus of mechanics also. But, I will consider you, if you are getting (MCE) branch I. e mathematics and computing, then go for it, because in DTU, there are better placement opportunities. But, PAI is also a very good branch. If you are interested, then go for it.

Lovely Professional University is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. And I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech from LPU only and right now she is working with Amazon. Few points which will help you to take decision:-
It is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Record placements with over 610 hired on a single day by cognizant. Tech mahindra hired 250 students in one go, which is the highest for any campus drive conducted by tech mahindra. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) selected LPU students for International locations. Students are exposed to higher order problem solving skills by making them part of competitive programming events like codechef, hackerrank, topcoder etc. Lpu students don't line up for placements, the companies do! B. Tech. Lateral Entry Program is an innovative program, in which students who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks can take admission and get B.Tech. degree in just three years.LPU offers more than 200+ programmes in various disciplines. B.tech is also offered in LPU in various streams. So, you can plan to join LPU for this programme. Admission in any programme depends on the Eligibility criteria to be qualified for that programme. It also depends on the performance in last qualification and Entrance test if applicable. Performance in Entrance test are considered for Eligibility and Scholarship purpose. As an alumni of LPU, I would prefer LPU as it provides ample amoun t of opportunities to its students be it in terms of placements, internships or best infrastructure, best curriculum being offered by it.
