Can you get CSE at DTU with EWS rank 17789 and CRL?123609 (female)? DTU's CSE “open general” closing rank in Round 5 was ~11,352 and first round ~6,105 CRL. EWS-category female cutoff (EWS supernumerary) typically closes well under 2,000. With your CRL over 1 Lacs and EWS 17k, your ranks fall outside last year's cutoff trends, so CSE admission at DTU isn't feasible.Which NITs offering CSE could match your EWS/CRL ranks? Several newer or lower-demand NITs admit CSE at higher rank ranges. In Round 6, EWS closing ranks went up to ~22,000 at Agartala, ~24,000 at Meghalaya, ~30,600 at Arunachal, and ~19,758 at Puducherry. With your EWS rank (~17,789), chances exist at these institutes. What about top NITs like Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal? Top-tier NITs remain out of reach: in Round1, Trichy EWS closed ~1,214, Warangal ~2,409, Surathkal ~1,214. Round 3 closed at Trichy ~4,463 and Warangal ~3,432 in open category. Those cutoffs stay far below your CRL/EWS ranks, meaning CSE at top NITs isn't viable.
