CAT results are accepted by the DSM for MBA admission. However, individuals with a valid MAT score may also apply for the DSM/ USME MBA programme. Candidates seeking admission to an MBA offered via DSM or USME are required to apply online on the official website of the Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC Delhi). MTech programme at DTU is available in both part-time and full-time modes. Admission to the M.Tech course is subject to a merit list prepared on the basis of GATE scores across all the specialisations. However, for part-time mode programmes, admission is subject to a merit list prepared on the basis of the last qualifying marks. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website. The application fee for all the MBA courses at DTU is INR 1,500. This fee component for the General MBA programme is the same for reserved category candidates. However, for SC/ST and PwD candidates, the registration fee is INR 750  (for MBA in BA, FBE and Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Venture Development) which needs to be paid online. The registration process will remain incomplete till the submission of the registration fee. For all courses, the application fee can be paid while filling out the application form on the official website.

Candidates seeking admission to DTU BTech course must appear for JEE Main exam. DTU accepts JEE Main scores as the qualifying cutoff for admission through JAC Delhi Counselling. JAC Delhi Counselling is a round wise seat allotment process for admission to five participating colleges including Delhi Technological University (DTU). JAC Delhi Counselling is held in four rounds namely Rounds 1,2, 3 and 4 followed by two additional spot rounds (if required). JAC Delhi Counselling results are released for various categories.

Moreover, when compared to the placement record, the highest package offered during IIT Ropar placements 2022 was INR 50 LPA whereas the highest package offered during DTU placements 2022 was INR 64.23 LPA.

The total number of seats available across BTech is 2,529. These seats are under a total of 14 specialisations (as per the official website of JAC Delhi) across all categories. In this intake, 85% of the total seats are reserved for Delhi students and the remaining 15% of seats are reserved for candidates from other states and cities. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Information Technology at DTU - Delhi Technological University for candidates other than General category are - 13239 for OBC, 37373 for SC, 66752 for ST, 7279 for EWS.
