Atmiya University, founded in 2018, is located around 23.5 acres of holy land. ATMIYA University is mentored by His Divine Holiness Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj, the current spiritual successor of Lord Swaminarayan. Atmiya University is one of six Indian institutions to sign an MoU with the University of Miyazaki. From time to time, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies such as UGC, DBT, DST, LSC, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, NAAC, NIRF, and others have praised and ranked Atmiya University. 

Atmiya was the first in Gujarat to offer BCA and B.Sc (IT) programs, as well as Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Industrial Chemistry in the Saurashtra region.
