Most campuses offer Wi-Fi access across the department, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and common areas. They ensures constant connectivity for both students and faculty. All are average as I feel.

Placements: Many students are well set and many are not. Many companies come and give students a chance. We all see that many seniors are well placed and get good packages. Many good companies are coming and all try to give opportunities to all.

Infrastructure: Here classrooms are old some are in poor condition. Library is excellent, very helpful to students. Wi-Fi is all good but not at hostels. In lab many systems are not working. Food is good but the taste is average. Many times in the food many insects are found. Campus is good.

Faculty: All are average. Many teachers are well experienced. Many are new their teaching style is not helpful. Some faculty are helpful. Teachers are actually good. Teachers teaching style & knowledge are good.

Other: My course is B.Tech in CSE. I love it for coding. I love coding and adapting skills. The fest is very few here so we are very excited for this. Too many classes are here.

Good placements and strong infrastructure with supportive faculty and a vibrant campus life.

Placements: GIET University reports 90 to 95 percent placements across most branches. The highest package reached 26.5LPA while the average is around 3.5 to 4LPA and the lowest package offered is 2LPA. Top recruiters include Zscaler Accenture TCS Wipro Deloitte HighRadius ITC Infotech Jio BP and Infosys. Many students often 70 to 100 percent depending on the branch receive internships in companies like TCS Wipro, HighRadius and Infosys. The most common roles are Software Developer Data Analyst ML/AI roles and tech consulting positions. Overall GIET offers strong placements with a few high end packages.

Infrastructure: GIET University offers strong infrastructure with campus wide Wi-Fi modern labs smart classrooms and a large 24/7 library. Departments have updated equipment for practical learning. Hostels provide Wi-Fi power backup and basic amenities. Rooms are decent though not luxurious. The mess serves hygienic food though quality is rated average by some students. The campus has multiple canteen a medical center with 24 hour ambulance service and regular health camps. Sports facilities include football cricket basketball badminton indoor games a gym and even a swimming pool. Overall infrastructure is well maintained and supportive of academic and campus life.

Faculty: GIET University teachers are generally qualified helpful and knowledgeable. Students rate the teaching quality as good. The curriculum is mostly industry oriented though some parts may feel theoretical. Overall it prepares students reasonably well for placements. Semester exams are moderately easy if you follow classes but tougher when set externally. The pass percentage varies by branch with students reporting anywhere from 40 to 80 percent depending on the exam and department.

Other: I chose this course because it offers strong technical learning, good industry relevance and wide career opportunities. The best parts are the practical labs supportive faculty and frequent placement driven training. The course can be improved by updating certain subjects and adding more hands on industry projects. Campus life is active with fests competitions clubs and cultural events. The crowd is diverse and friendly and the surroundings are peaceful. Connectivity is decent and scholarships are available for merit and need based students. Overall the environment supports both academics and extracurricular growth.

Placements: GIET is a good college in Odisha. Around 80% of students get placement from our course. In our course, the highest package is 26 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top companies include TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Zscaler, NXT Wave, and Cognizant. Students get a chance for internships from the 3rd year of the course. The top roles are in the software development and coding fields.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is good. All facilities are available here. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are equipped with all necessary equipment. Each department has access to the library. Classrooms are decent. Hostel facilities are adequate. Mess food is decent, and a canteen is available. Medical and sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: Faculty of this college is experienced and helpful to students. Their teaching quality is good. They are all qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not easy. You need to study at least 10 days before the exam. The passing ratio is 90%.

GIET University offers good courses, placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: Our college has great placements. The placement department works hard to ensure all students get placed in top companies. Top recruiting companies such as Wipro, Infosys, Flipkart, and Microsoft visit our college for placements. We also get internship offers from big companies like Wipro and Accenture. Roles such as software developer are offered in our course. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the minimum package is 5.5 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and complete silence is maintained in the library. Teachers are available whenever you need them. The mess food is very poor. Medical facilities are limited. Sports and games are not conducted frequently.

Faculty: In our college, most teachers are Ph.D. qualified and have good experience. Their teaching is good. We have many activities, and since the college is autonomous, we get all facilities within the college itself. The course curriculum is not very relevant and does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy, and the pass rate is 90 percent.
