GIET University Scholarships and Funding
The University provides Various Scholarships-
1. GIETU Merit Scholarship (B.Tech Only)(up to Rs. 50,000/- rupees per annum)-
Candidates who have a GIETEE rank of 11 to 20 are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who have IIT JEE (Mains) rank upto 25001 to 1 Lakh rank holders are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who are State toppers (all state govt-recognised boards), including CBSE/ICSE, are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who are residents of Odisha Students or have More than 75% in CHSE, Odisha Board, or more than 8.5 CGPA in CBSE/ICSE Board are eligible for the Scholarship.

Placements: Above 60 percent is required to study at GIET University, Gunupur. 3 LPA is the lowest package, while 20 LPA plus is the highest package offered in our mechanical engineering course. Top requirement companies came for our course, like JK Paper, design companies, etc.
Placements: GIET University has provided good facilities for placement. From a placement point of view, this college's highest package was 20 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, but the average was 4 to 5 LPA in our course. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and others. There are not many internship opportunities from our course. In companies, the top roles are software development and AI/ML development fields.
Placements: Here, mostly 70% of students are getting placement. Only eligible candidates are getting placement with a good CGPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Accenture, and different marketing-based companies come to hire students.
Placements: This college provides good placement. Last year, 70% students were placed in so many companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Zscalar, and others. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 to 4 LPA. According to the internship view student around 80% placed. The top role is software development.
Placements: Around 80 to 90 percent of students got placed from the CSE department. The maximum package is 7.5 LPA to 8 LPA. The college placements were good before 2022 but now they are much less. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro. Around 500 students got placed in different companies.
Placements: Above 90 percent of students were placed in our department. From there only 60 percent of students got the campus placement. The highest package was 25 LPA in the previous year and the average was 10 LPA. The recruiting MNCs are Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Highradious, etc. 100 percent of students are selected for the internship.
