GIET University Scholarships and Funding
The University provides Various Scholarships-
1. GIETU Merit Scholarship (B.Tech Only)(up to Rs. 50,000/- rupees per annum)-
Candidates who have a GIETEE rank of 11 to 20 are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who have IIT JEE (Mains) rank upto 25001 to 1 Lakh rank holders are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who are State toppers (all state govt-recognised boards), including CBSE/ICSE, are eligible for the Scholarship Amount.
Candidates who are residents of Odisha Students or have More than 75% in CHSE, Odisha Board, or more than 8.5 CGPA in CBSE/ICSE Board are eligible for the Scholarship.

Placements: Now, placement is something that all students need. For that, a student chooses a college accordingly, as it is better for both. This college provides an average package of 4–5 LPA. Most companies also visit for placements, like TATA, Accenture, Infosys, Zscaler, etc. Internship opportunities depend on students' skills and performance. The top roles offered in our course are in software and web development areas.
Placements: For this year, mostly startup companies are coming for placements and offering a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA with a 2-year bond. No one got a company internship in this year, so the college provides an internship for us. Top roles offered are software engineer, data analytics, and AIML.
Placements: For the placement, the GIET T&P cell provides technical, reasoning classes, and interview sessions for every student. It invites MNCs like Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, TCS, Cognizant, etc. In the previous year, TCS hired around 150 students and more than 30 students were hired by Accenture. The packages are around 5 LPA to 15 LPA.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed last year. Most students get placed in marketing, consulting, finance, and production. The highest package is 15 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 7 LPA. Students get two-month internships from TCS, HDFC, Amazon, Larsen & Toubro, etc.
Placements: Placement is not good. In our course, the placement ratio is 50 percent. This is not much better than other colleges in Odisha. The lowest is not mentioned, but I think the highest package is approximately 10 LPA in our course. Top companies that visited for placement drives include Tech Mahindra, a mechanical startup, Startup India for students, etc. Internship depends on students' study performance. 70 percent of students got an internship from our course. Placements: It is a modern-style college in Odisha. There is a placement with a proper 100 percent guarantee. The package was 20 LPA plus in our previous year. Now the placement drive is ongoing. Top companies that visited for placement with high packages include TCS, Saras, Deloitte, ByteIQ, etc. Internship depends on a student's performance. Top roles offered by our course are software developer, website designer, or developer.
