Dissatisfied with faculty and limited placement opportunities for average students.

Placements: Students who have technical and communication skills have better placements. Highest package is 15 LPA as of 2026. I have no idea about the lowest package. But it is around 1 LPA. Cognizant, Deloitte, Google, and other companies are among the recruiters. 40-50 percent of students get internships in companies like Cognizant.

Infrastructure: I would rate the hostel and L1 classrooms 4.5 out of 5. Classrooms have good air conditioning and hygiene, average Wi-Fi speed, and a small library. The hostel facilities are excellent. It feels like a 4-star hotel stay. The food at GITAM is unbeatable. No other college in Bangalore can match GITAM's food.

Faculty: Qualified faculty, smart teaching techniques (PPT), and moderate semester exams. But they often fail students for re-evaluation and, if they do not pass, for supplementary examinations. I face this every semester. I prefer this college for students who are passionate about their future, work hard, attend classes regularly, and do not miss any classes. Such students will 100% get placed.

Other: I am interested in Artificial Intelligence, but choosing this college has backfired for me. Now I have no hope for campus placements.

College is absolutely fine. If you're trying to get placed here, you must follow faculty's guidance.

Placements: The maximum number of students placed every year is around 70, I think. The average package at GITAM is 6–7 LPA. The highest package of all time at GITAM, including all campuses, was Rs. 2 crore. Many top companies, like Google and other IT companies, are available.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course or department, like Wi-Fi, classrooms, and the library, are nice. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of the food was decent, not very good or very bad. Daily sports and games are available to play.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Some teachers may be strict and not good, but we have an option to choose our faculty every semester. The teaching quality was very nice, easy, and peaceful. The difficulty of the papers may vary every semester. It depends on the person who sets the paper, but in every paper, there are also some easy questions, enough to pass.

Other: I chose this course because of my passion. The best thing about my course is coding. It helps develop AI and many other things around you with only a line of code.

Gitam University Bengaluru experience.

Placements: The placement percentage is too low. Most of the companies that come for recruitment are from the sales and edtech sectors. It would be great if the college provided opportunities in fields relevant to the students' courses. However, the placement team is very supportive. They try their level best to bring companies to the campus, but placements still need to improve.

Infrastructure: The college has one of the best world-class infrastructures. It has digital classrooms, advanced labs, and SOCE for interdisciplinary practice. The main advantage is the research labs and the research opportunities available. The hostels are also very good. They provide some of the best food compared to many other colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and act as a best support system for students. They encourage students to pursue their passions along with academics, whether it is dance, singing, acting, entrepreneurship, or anything else. They also provide question banks and everything required for semester examinations.

I am satisfied. Good placement, great faculty, and huge infrastructure with great facilities.

Placements: It's my 1st year in college and so far it's a good experience for me. The placement for the students of my course will start from my super senior batch, but for optometry, it has already started, and as far as I know, all the students got placed in companies like Lenskart. We don't need to go elsewhere for the internship, the college itself will provide the internship for the students in its hospital. Especially for Radiology, you are going to get real postings from the 2nd semester itself, and for others, it is from the 3rd or 4th semester, it's like you have already started working. It's really fun.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well-equipped, and the library is also really good, filled with all the books that you would need. The hostels are really nice, and the quality of the food is so good and hygienic. The medical, sports and games facilities are really great.

Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is really good, and you can ask doubts freely. The course curriculum is very relevant. Exams can be a bit hard, but never out of the syllabus. It completely depends on your study.

Other: I chose this because I had an interest in the things that we typically need to do as a Radiologist. The best things are taking X-rays, where you are getting hands-on patient cases from the 2nd year itself. Some or the other events always happen, and fests are really very great here. The campus is nice and huge, and the crowd is nice. They have an exam called GAT and if you qualify, you can get a scholarship of 15 to 75 percent and also sometimes 100 percent.

Good infrastructure, mentorship, and ample opportunities.

Placements: Placements for B.Tech and BBA are usually reliable. If you are doing B.Sc. or another degree then you have to focus on building your skills, doing internships, as well as maintaining your CGPA easily if you focus on the classes. It is advisable to sit for college placements not to completely rely on it.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with advanced machinery. There is high-speed Wi-Fi, a QR scan attendance system, horseshoe classes, etc. Many classes are air-conditioned. The hostels are the best thing, the multipurpose room has all sorts of games, a gym, and a nice study room.

Faculty: Faculty at GITAM open the door to significant opportunities and the feedback system gives you the room for constructive criticism. Curriculum is updated and liberal students get exposure to all three schools, learning different subjects than the one they just chose.

Other: There's always some event going on on campus. There are enough opportunities for any direction you wish to go whether it is research, fashion, sports, leadership, etc.

Good college for enjoying your college life. There are a lot of events happening and studies.

Placements: The placements are good and they start preparing the students from the 3rd year and they start giving them training so that they can get a good job in the final year. Our college also offers many internships which are very useful to the students and almost every year 70 percent of students get placements.

Infrastructure: Every class is a digital class and they contain all the equipment needed for teaching. There is an AC as well as a non-AC class. Most of the classes are in AC rooms and there are many labs like the done lab, the AI lab, and the Murti lab. The labs are accessible to everyone in the college.

Faculty: Every teacher in GITAM is Ph.D. scholar. They have years of experience in teaching and they teach well but some faculty are good enough in teaching but in practical not good enough but most of the faculty are very good in teaching they are contactable even after classes.

Other: Every student can get a scholarship but scholarship seats are limited. You have to pay a fee ahead of joining to secure youth seat.
