To be eligible to pursue MCA at GITAM, applicants are required to have scored at least 50% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering. A relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirement is given to the candidates belonging to the resereved categories. Hence, candidates belonging to reserved categories with a minimum of 45% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering are eligible to apply for the programme. However, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to the institute's MCA programme. MCA admission at GITAM is entrance-based. The seats are allotted to the candidates with a valid score in the accepted entrance exam. In case a candidate fails to secure a seat the GITAM for MCA, they can look for other colleges/universities providing the programme. They can also check out the colleges offering online MCA courses.

Candidates failing to meet the deadline to fill the application form will be required to pay the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 late fee along with the application fee. Candidates will be required to pay the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 application late fee of INR 1000, INR 2000, INR 3000 or INR 5000 as per the last date to apply for Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 exam.
