The last year 2023 cutoff ranks for BTech courses ranged between 135587 and 262201. Out of all the specialisations, the most competitive cutoff was for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering branch. Observing the last three years cutoff trend, a huge decline appears in the closing rank of the last round for General-All India category candidates. 

A course-wise placements report has not been released by the authorities. In the 2023 placements as per an overall report, a total of 77 companies took part and selected 330 students. The highest package offered during the placements stood at 14.75 LPA. Some of the top companies that participated in the placements drive were IBM, Nagarro, Haldiram's, Amazon, etc.

Candidates can check out the GJUST BTech allotment list online on its official website. The seat allotment process is carried out through HSTES counselling. The candidates get a seat based on merit/JEE score. After filling out the admission form, aspirants should wait for the cutoff list and then take part in the counselling, if they meet the cutoff marks.

GJUST fee structure includes various components, such as tuition fee, caution money, hostel fee, etc. Some of the charges are one-time payable, ranging from INR 3,000 to INR 4,000. Moreover, the hostel fee can be from INR 98,000 to INR 1 lakh. The course fee varies at the university and its affiliated colleges. Further, the tuition fee amount has to be annually/semesterly. The curriculum of BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering offered at GJUST includes subject related to the specialisation. In the first year of the course, common subjects, such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics have to be studied. Guru Jambeshawar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) carried out selection procedure as per the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) Diploma Pharmacy.
