The college campus is very good with a herbal garden and greenery everywhere, and I suggest it.
Placements: As I am a first-year student, I do not know much about placements yet. However, from what I hear from seniors, students get opportunities at the national level in Ayurveda. We have a six-month internship in the college for Ayurveda practice and another six-month internship for modern practice at a health center.
Infrastructure: The library has all the books and magazines required for Ayurveda, which helps a lot in our studies. The hostel and mess quality need improvement. Currently, we are living in staff quarters.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the quality of teaching is good. They also organize extracurricular activities related to Ayurveda to provide more practical knowledge. The semester exams are not very difficult to fail, but are also not easy to pass. Students need to work hard as the college prepares them well for the university examinations. Faculty members are very engaged in students' progress. They help, teach, and clear doubts whenever needed.
Other: I chose this course because it is very interesting for those who want to cure illnesses with home remedies. Your first medicine is often available in your kitchen. Some of these remedies are not even mentioned in modern medical practices.

Satisfied with faculty, teaching, practical sessions, and events, like Yoga Day.
Placements: I am currently studying in this college and have heard about placements from my seniors. Many of them get good placements, though not everyone. This year (2025–26), the course has 100 seats, whereas earlier it had only 60 seats. The internship is divided into two parts: 6 months in our college and 6 months at a hospital allotted by the college.
Infrastructure: The mess provides Jain food, and it is good. According to our seniors, the food quality has improved a lot. The mess also has a good variety in its menu. The hostel facilities are good. I personally think the staff quarters where freshers stay are the best. The main girls' hostel is also good, although it depends on how clean the students keep it.
Faculty: Teachers are best in terms of knowledge and preparing us for exams. The semester exams are fair. If you study well, you score good marks. During practical sessions, students are expected to stay active and participate in discussions. Teachers encourage us to answer questions. Even if our answers are wrong, they politely correct us instead of discouraging us.
Other: My second option was B.A.M.S., so I chose this course. The best part is that I also believe in natural healing and Ayurveda. I wish people gave B.A.M.S. the same importance as MBBS. The college regularly organizes cultural fests, sports days, and other events, which create memorable experiences.

Review of Swaminarayan University.
Placements: In MBBS, the seats are filled through the counselling process. There were 150 seats previously, but now the seats have been increased to 200. There are 52 seats offered for MD. The package is much higher than other colleges and universities because of the private university.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are superb with AC and non-AC rooms. The medical college has its own hospital named PSM, which offers the best medical services.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and stand side by side with the students during the whole completion of their medical journey. The college works as per the guidelines of the NMC. The papers are difficult, moderate and sometimes easy. A minimum of 50 percent is required to pass. The number of faculty members is very high, and a lot of other staff is also present, which is very helpful.
Other: It was my dream to be a good MBBS doctor. The campus is full of greenery and lots of events take place. There are many science fairs that take place during the three-month gap. The fests are very much heart-touching.

I am very lucky to get admission in this college because of our teachers and real knowledge of life.
Placements: 94 student seats are available for excellence. Packages of 3 LPA, 2.5 LPA, and 50,000 are offered by companies like Baidhyanath, Vyas, and Dang Pharmacy. In our college, many students come for internships because of the high exposure to different patients. Nowadays, research and student startup programmes are highly encouraged.
Infrastructure: We have a huge library and digital projectors for studies. We also have programmes like Sports Week, Annual Function, Navaratri, Fresher Parties, etc. Yoga, Sanskrit Pathshala, extra-curricular lectures, and youth festivals define the beauty of arts. Along with studies, we participate in different activities.
Faculty: Our Gurus are very helpful. They are graduates from top universities and also help in treating patients from the roots. Our semester exams are difficult, but if your study is continuous, you will not fail. The pass percentage is 50 percent. We also celebrate Yoga Day at the national level and create awareness among people through Suvarnaprashan. Different measures are taken to guide and create awareness among people.
Other: Ayurveda, personally I follow it, and my interest is in it. Mainly when I see patients suffering for many years and then they place their hope in you, and you have the right knowledge to treat the disease from its roots. I think we should create awareness about Ayurveda through Guru–Shishya Parampara and Gurukula.

Take admission if you just want a degree, not for skills and knowledge.
Placements: No placements provided by Shree Swaminarayan Ayurvedic College. Also, hospital is rubbish, it needs to be improved, they have fake OPD, fake patients. They don't offer any paid internship, zero exposure to patients, surgery, therapies, bad pharmacy, etc.
Infrastructure: Shree Swaminarayan Ayurvedic College has good infrastructure with a large campus, a canteen, a cricket playground, a football ground, a volleyball net with required equipment. No Wi-Fi facilities for students. Labs are decent, and basic library is common, and mess food is average.
Faculty: Non-permanent faculty members. Whole institution is controlled by Swaminarayan saints, and degrees like B.A.M.S., BHMS, B.Pharma, B.E. / B.Tech, and nursing have a uniform which have to be compulsory, worse with an ID card, and Swaminarayan University logo has to be sticked on your vehicle compulsorily.

Modern infrastructure and supportive faculty, placement opportunities vary.
Placements: I am pursuing my degree. Mostly, students were placed in an average salary of nearly 9.6 LPA. Many got roles like software developers and Data analysts, and about 60 to 70% secured internships. College had good faculty, a peaceful green campus, and a well-stocked library that supported our learning.
Infrastructure: KIRC has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, projectors, Wi-Fi, and well-equipped labs. Library is quiet with a good book collection. Hostel rooms are furnished, and mess offers hygienic food. A canteen with affordable snacks is also available. Medical help is on campus. Sports like cricket, volleyball, and indoor games are encouraged, and a sports week is held yearly. Green campus adds to pleasant environment.
Faculty: Faculty at our GTU-affiliated college are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Curriculum is industry-relevant, preparing students well for jobs. Semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent effort. Thanks to good teaching and guidance, pass percentage remains high, helping students succeed.
Other: I chose this course for its strong industry relevance and good placement record. Best parts are experienced faculty and practical learning. I wish for updated labs and more industry projects. Campus life is lively with fun fests, a good crowd, green surroundings, scholarships, and active extracurricular activities.

Generally, Gujarat Ayurveda University is considered a Tier 2 institution. This is not in the top-tier league as AIIMS or big IITs, but it is well-respected in Ayurveda studies. It has a good name, a nice enough faculty and infrastructure especially for BAMS. In a specialised field like this, it's l
