Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

Yes, Hindustan University offers a five-year integrated course of BSc + MSc across three specialisations, namely Food Technology, Visual Communication and Mathematics. In this integrated course, students get a combined degree of UG and PG after the completion of course.

For the admission to three-year BSc course, the minimum eligibility criteria is to pass Class 12 with minimum 50% in the respective subjects.

Hindustan University offers a three-year LLB course as a professional program. This course is approved by the Bar Council through the School of Law. At Hindustan University, students get to learn the fundamentals of Law with real-time situations and practical implementations. The exam-conducting authority conducted the HITSEEE 2024 exam from May 3 to May 10, 2024. The course range of this university is vast with more than 100 courses offered at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. These include- BBA, BTech, BCA, BSc, BCom, MTech, etc. 

HITSEEE 2026 will be conducted from April 2026 to May 2026. The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science will start the admission process for HITSEEE 2026 from April 2026. The mode of the HITSEEE 2026 application form is online, with an application fee cost of INR 2129/-  for all categories.

Multiple-choice questions will be asked in HITSEEE exam to check students' proficiency in fundamental subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge. The top scorers at national level will get a merit-based scholarship to do their graduate studies at HITS.

The total number of seats available for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at HITS is 480. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on their performance in HITSEEE exam and academic record. The seat availability also plays a crucial role. Hindustan University has the highest number of seats for the CSE course. Moreover, the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

If the candidate doesn’t accept the seat allocated to him or her, the HITSCAT 2025 allotment will be canceled. Also, the seat in that case will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit. So, it is the responsibility of the candidate to pay the seat-acceptance fee by the given deadline.

Yes, HITS Chennai offers two-year MBA programmes. The PG-level course is offered across different specialisations, including Aviation Management, Logistics Management, Green Business, etc. Admission to these courses is through Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Common Aptitude Test (HITSCAT). Candidates need to take the exam and clear it to take admission. The aspirants who meet eligibility criteria can further apply by visiting the official website.
