Himachal Pradesh University BA admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024 and candidates seeking admission to the BA at HPU must qualify the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Therefore, Class 12 marks are enough for admission to the BA programme. 

MBA is one of the popular courses of Himachal Pradesh University. The in-depth detailed curriculum, low fee and placement opportunities are some of the highlighting points of the course. The fee for HPU MBA course ranges between INR 4,800 and INR 1.4 lakh. 

The university conducts placement drive every year. Companies such as Paytm, Amazon, IBM and Cars24 among others visited the campus for placements and Internships. The university recorded 80% hiring rate during placements 2022.

Himachal Pradesh University offers scholarships to BCom students based on Economically backward category of students who belong to categories such as BPL for continuing their higher education.
