Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2030

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of the curriculum.
Placements: This data is for the passing batch. For the CSE branch the highest package offered here is 145 LPA. Around 98 percent of students got placed from that batch. As for the lowest package our college placements are capped at 15 LPA which means the lowest is 15 LPA. The average package this year is 36.75 LPA which I consider pretty good.
Infrastructure: This college has very limited resources which is the only drawback as it is built on a 9-acre land only but still the available resources are top-notch and the small campus should not be a problem as the campus is in the main Bangalore City which provides good connectivity. I raise the quality of mess food as compared to other colleges. The quality is really good but the canteen has very few items which I feel is also a drawback. For sports and games I think the resources are enough that the college provides us with TT tables, cricket, and football ground.
Faculty: I feel the teaching quality is of a top-notch level. The courses offered here are only focused on relevant things only while other colleges offer many irrelevant courses. Here, the case is different. This makes students industry-ready and professors are really helpful here they are ready to help you any time. The semester exams are pretty tough you need to work hard to pass them.
Other: I think here the overall college life is pretty good if you know how to manage studies and social life together. I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the IT sector and I think this is the best place where I could jumpstart my career, as Bangalore is the city of opportunities. Here the events and fests are not that up to the mark but still manageable. We have some fest or events almost once every month which never makes you feel bored. You are always looking ahead of you.

It is a good college and placements are good.
Placements: Placements are really good. Companies like Amazon, Myntra, and semiconductor companies like Qualcomm and Mediatek come and give good packages here. Roles like software engineer, embedded systems, hardware, and VLSI are almost available for every role. Companies visit for ML engineers too.
Infrastructure: You can never get better hostel and mess facilities than here. Four times a day, food is available and is much better in terms of taste and quality. Facilities like Wi-Fi all the time, drinking water, and a cafeteria have badminton courts, table tennis, basketball, a football ground, and lawn tennis too.
Faculty: Exams here help you to gain good knowledge about the subject. They are moderate to tough in most cases, which require a good understanding of the subject. There is a bit of pressure, but only in the first two semesters. It can be managed, and in the last two semesters, there is just an internship or not much hectic work, so you can focus on your placements.

It has strong academics, great placements, and good industry exposure at IIIT Bangalore.
Placements: Around 95-98% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is around 65 LPA to 70 LPA. The average package is about 24 LPA to 26 LPA, and the lowest package is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Nvidia, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and Samsung R&D. Around 80-90% of students got internships, mainly in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Nvidia, and Flipkart. Top roles offered are software development engineer (SDE), full-stack/back-end developer, data scientist, machine learning engineer, research engineer, and product engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for our department are very good. The campus has 24/7 high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs with updated systems, and smart classrooms with projectors. A well-stocked library is available with textbooks, research papers, and online resources. Hostel facilities are decent and comfortable, with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, laundry, and basic amenities. The mess food is average but hygienic. The canteen has limited but affordable options. Medical facilities are available on campus with a health center for basic treatment. The institute also has sports facilities for badminton, basketball, cricket, football, gym, and indoor games, which students actively use.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Many professors have strong academic and research backgrounds. The teaching quality is good, and most courses focus on concept clarity along with practical understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and well-designed, with a good balance of theory, labs, and projects. It helps students become industry-ready, especially for software and research roles. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mainly test conceptual understanding. With regular study and assignments, exams are manageable. The pass percentage is usually above 95%.
Other: I am a B.Tech CSE student from the 2024 batch at IIIT Bangalore. I chose this course because of its strong curriculum, experienced faculty, and excellent placement opportunities in top tech companies. The course is industry-oriented and focuses on core computer science concepts along with practical learning. The campus crowd is competitive and motivated, which creates a good learning environment. IIIT Bangalore offers good infrastructure, active technical and cultural events, decent hostel facilities, and strong industry exposure due to its location in Bangalore.

A wonderful college to turn my dreams into reality.
Placements: About 80 to 85% of students are registered. The highest package is around 60 LPA, and the average is around 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more companies. Top roles offered are data engineer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The total campus is 9 acres of land with modern equipment and rooms made of good infrastructure. Coming to classrooms, they are comfortable for every batch of students. Library is well stocked with all kinds of books. Mess food is completely hygienic and consists of a variety of food items. Medical facilities are available 24X7. For sports, there is sufficient ground to play.
Faculty: Professors are very talented and experienced more than 15 to 20 years. Course curriculum is completely relevant to the course that we opted for. Labs will also be conducted to gain hands-on experience, which makes industry-ready. Coming to exams, they are of moderate level. The pass percentage will be more than 90%.

It is a good college if you focus on placement and academics.
Placements: Here, the placement record is 100% till 2024, and placements for 2025 are still ongoing. Top companies include Google, Amazon, D. E. Shaw, Uber, etc. The highest and lowest packages are 45 LPA and 12 LPA, respectively, with an average of 25 LPA. The majority of students are placed in Oracle, Wells Fargo, Google, and Qualcomm.
Infrastructure: Every facility is provided, and all sports facilities are available. Considering the 9-acre campus, there is no swimming pool or separate football and cricket ground. The ground is small. Academic-related facilities, like labs and others, are also provided. Hostel facilities are also decent.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly educated, and teachers are helpful. Exams are of moderate difficulty. Some exams seem very hectic, but all are manageable. Tutorial sessions are conducted and doubt-clearing is very efficient. Overall, academics are good here.

IIIT Bangalore is a premier institute for its engineering and IT programs.
Placements: 100% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 65 LPA, and average package is 36.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Nvidia, Qualcomm, Apple, Microsoft, etc. 100% of people also received internship offers. Placement wise IIITB is very good.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are the best here. We have labs for almost everything related to electronics. Library has books of every sort, from fiction to reference books. Hostel is very good. We are provided with 3 sharing rooms with ample space to keep a table, bed, and cupboard.
Faculty: Teachers here are very qualified with HOD of ECE department, a Ph.D. from University of Alabama and other teachers are alumni of reputed universities. Course curriculum is very relevant, and we are not taught any subject that is not needed and is always relevant to the industry. Exams get difficult as we progress with semesters, and we also grow with that. The pass percentage is very good, and almost no one fails the course.
Other: I chose this course because of expertise of the college in electronics field and placement data that is available. The best thing about this course is that we are not fed any irrelevant information and we focus on industry-relevant subjects only. I could probably make the course a little less hectic but other than that everything is best about the course. Main fest of the college is Infin8, and it goes for 3 days and happens in the month of April. Other fests such as Spandan and Umang also happen annually. We also have a spinoff of IPL, IIITB Premier League that happens twice a year. Seniors are really helpful and always available for any help. We are right in the center of city, and connectivity is best here.
