One of the best colleges for marine engineering with a high placement rate.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members got their Ph.D. from IITs, and some of them are passouts of our campus who served in the maritime field as chief engineers, which makes it easier for us to understand marine subjects. They also share their experiences with us, which helps us to become good marine engineers and perform well in the maritime field.

College is creating legacies.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are professionals in their own field of subject. I must say that their teaching quality is awesome. This course curriculum makes students world-class sailors because the environment which is provided by the college is A one. Semester exams here are a bit difficult because marine engineering is not like other branches of engineering.

The best marine institute IMU-KC.

Faculty: Faculty here are highly qualified with most of them hailing from renowned NITs and IITs and also from research institutes. This course makes the student fit for the marine field as required onboard. The semester examinations are not that tough but one has to study moderately for the same to score good marks.

It's a hard job, but if you get used to it, you will make a good living out of it.

Faculty: The faculty in IMU Kolkata Campus is well-qualified most of them having prior experience in this field being ex-chief engineers and surveyors. The course is wholly marine-oriented teaching us the basics of whatever is required to be a marine engineer on a ship. Semester exams are moderate. Students can easily fail if they have not studied enough. Some of the subjects are really hard and need time to be dealt with.

A place to start your marine career. Very good placement ratio.

Faculty: Teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is related to the industry and makes the cadets ready for the marine field. Semesters are not very tough. This college has the oldest and the biggest workshop, which gives the cadets proper exposure to the marine field and makes the cadets ready for ships mentally and physically as well.

IMUKC - The DMET legacy, where the future seafarers are trained.

Faculty: The college is being run by DEMTIANS and has a good range of experienced faculty members. The teaching techniques are very effective and can be easily understood by all the cadets irrespective of linguistic barriers. They make students instant-ready as the curriculum is very relevant. Passing semester exams is not that difficult, as the syllabus are very limited.

Just search for the DMET Kolkata and you will know everything about this great college.

Faculty: All of our faculty members are well-experienced. They came from doing the same job that we will do. They share a lot of information that will help us onboard. They came after sailing the in merchant navy. The difficulty level of semester exams is a bit high because you have to read a larger number of subjects other than normal engineering. The passing percentage is about 80%.

Bridging dreams and reality: IMU Kolkata.

Faculty: Most faculty members are pass-outs of this college and retire as chief engineers. They have experience onboard. They help us a lot in gaining knowledge about harsh conditions onboard ships. In the course, you get to learn a bit of everything: electrical, mechanical, electronics, and software engineering as well. The semester exams are a bit tough. Around 70 percent of cadets are able to clear all the subjects.

Course is hard but plays off well.

Faculty: Teachers are top-notch officers, especially the chief engineer and Ph.D. holders. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. You have to study for semester exams. In some semesters, all students failed one subject. Teachers are willing to teach.

Best return on investment college - IMU KC, best placement records, amazing campus life.

Faculty: The faculty are amazing and strict most of them are college pass-outs so their experience helps a lot. They used to give proper guidance in physical and academic training. Semester exams are decent one must have to score a minimum of 50% on his paper to pass the exam. Colleges have workshops to give hands-on practice training which broadens the knowledge of cadets.

Satisfied with college placements and the biggest fest.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They come here from various posts like surveyors, chief engineers, and captains. Since this course is related to Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, the semester exams are not very tough, and all backlogs are easily clearable. The passing percentage of these semester exams is nearly 80-90%.
