Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi also offers two executive postgraduate diploma courses, named Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Global Human Resource Management (EPGD-GHRM) and International Business (EPGDIB) in a part-time mode (Weekends). Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria can apply. IIFT Delhi further calls eligible candidates for the interview round for final selection.
The final selection of Executive PGDM courses is done based on candidates’ performance in the GDPI round conducted at the IIFT Delhi campus. It is also necessary that each aspirant meet the eligibility requirements. For final selections, candidates have to go through group discussions and personal interview rounds. The course admission is based on academic background and performance in the GDPI round. The IIFT Delhi admission process, involves application form filling, selection rounds, and seat allotment. Candidates can read more on IIFT Delhi EMBA admission procedure below:
STEP 1: IIFT Delhi EMBA Application Process 2024
The IIFT Delhi application process is carried out in online mode. The application fee is not refundable. Incomplete applications are not considered after the prescribed date. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. IIFT registration is a four-step process as mentioned below:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of NTA i.e (https://iift.nta.nic.in) to apply online for IIFT admission 2024.
Step 1.2: Login and fill out the online application form as per the details given in the Information Bulletin of IIFT programmes.
Step 1.3: Upload photo, signature and certificates and pay the application fee to complete the application process.
Step 1.4: Pay the exam application fee and hit the 'Submit' button.
IIFT Delhi Executive PGDM Application Process 2024: Important Documents
Candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned documents when applying for IIFT Delhi admission 2024:
- Filled in CV Form
- Attested copy of all academic mark sheets/certificates (Class 10, 12 & Graduation)
- Copy of all Passport pages having official entries
- Two letters of recommendation. Preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager.
- The Indian nationals who are living, working, or studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for not less than 18 months as on 31st December of the admission year.
STEP 2: GDPI
In this step, candidates shortlisted after application screening need to take part in the group discussion and personal interview round. Based on the performance in this round, the final selection is done.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

No, candidates seeking admission to Executive PGDM programmes of IIFT Delhi are not required to take any exam. The institute shortlist candidates based on aggregate in the last qualifying exam (degree course) and work experience. These shortlisted candidates are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round by the institute. The interview round is conducted on the IIFT Delhi campus.
IIFT Delhi's admission process is both merit-based as well as entrance-based. For MBA, candidates are required to clear the IIFT entrance examination which is conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT. For clearing this exam, candidates must practice the IIFT question papers and must give the IIFT mock test . For the remaining postgraduate programmes, admission is merit-based. For Ph.D. the admission is done based on a written test and an interview round conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Candidates must follow a predefined admission process to get admission to various courses at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
Yes, the candidates are required to clear the sectional cut offs of IIFT entrance exam as well for selection to second round of IIFT admission process, which is group discussion or extempore, essay writing and personal interview. The sectional cut offs play an important role in assessing the abilities of a candidates in all subjects – Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English Comprehension. That is why the institute releases sectional cut offs as well for shortlisting of candidates for the personality assessment round of the MBA admission process. The Reserved category students also get the benefit of Reservation quota fixed by the Government of India. A certain number of seats are available for Reserved category candidates in the management programmes.
