IIFT Delhi's admission process is both merit-based as well as entrance-based. For MBA, candidates are required to clear the IIFT entrance examination which is conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT. For clearing this exam, candidates must practice the IIFT question papers and must give the IIFT mock test . For the remaining postgraduate programmes, admission is merit-based. For Ph.D. the admission is done based on a written test and an interview round conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Candidates must follow a predefined admission process to get admission to various courses at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
IIFT Delhi admission is open for 2025 session. Interested candidates have to apply online on the institute's website. The institute offers admission IIFT shortlists candidates for MBA (IB and BA) programmes based on CAT scores. For other courses, such as MA and PhD, the institute shall continue to conduct entrance exams.
IIFT Delhi admission 2023 was based on candidates' performance in the IIFT entrance exam. Shortlisting of candidates for IIFT Delhi admission is done based on marks scored by them in the entrance exam. A minimum cut off is fixed for this purpose. The minimum cut off varies from one year to another. IIFT cut offs are different for different category students. Candidates who meet the admission cut off are selected for Extempore and PI rounds.

There are multiple components included in the total course fee of the two-year MA in IIFT Delhi. As of now, the institute is offering MA in Economics only. Yes, the registrations have opened for IIFT Delhi MBA 2025. Further, the institute will release the shortlisted candidates list in the last week of Jan 2026. The group discussion and interviews will be conducted in Feb/Mar. In addition, IIFT MBA 2025-27 batch will commence from Jun 2026.
Candidates fulfilling the course-specific eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for Executive PGDM in IIFT Delhi. Eligible candidates can fill out the admission form in online mode by visiting the IIFT official website (iift.ac.in). IIFT shortlists candidates based on merit in the last qualifying examination and relevant work experience. The shortlisted candidates are further required to participate in the group discussion and personal interview (GDPI) rounds. Final seat allotment is carried out after all the selection rounds.
IIFT Delhi will now accept CAT score for admission to MBA (IB & BA) for the 2024-2026 batch. CAT 2023 exam is scheduled on Nov 26. Additionally, the IIFT Delhi 2024 application form is expected to be released in the first week of October. The application window will further be open till the second week of November.
