IIFT Delhi PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses 2025

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade offers three certificate programmes in hybrid mode. The aspirants have to appear on campus for six days in the beginning, after which online classes are conducted. Candidates need to visit the campus for the first 6 days of the course after which online classes are conducted. The courses offered are mentioned in the table given below:

IIFT Delhi registration can be done in online mode. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria before form filling. Candidates must pay an application fee of INR 2,500 (General) or INR 1,000 (Reserved category). IIFT Delhi PhD admission is done on the basis of candidates' performance in the written test conducted by IIFT. Candidates further need to take part in the personal interview round to shortlist the candidates. These shortlisted candidates are further eligible to take admission. To confirm their seats, the selected candidates need to pay the required amount of fee within the due date as prescribed by the institute.

IIFT Delhi application process is carried out in online mode. Candidates are required to complete the application form and submit it within the due date or else it is considered as incomplete. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. Further, the steps to apply are:

IIFT Delhi's admission process is both merit-based as well as entrance-based. For MBA, candidates are required to clear the IIFT entrance examination which is conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT. For clearing this exam, candidates must practice the IIFT question papers and must give the IIFT mock test . For the remaining postgraduate programmes, admission is merit-based. For Ph.D. the admission is done based on a written test and an interview round conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Candidates must follow a predefined admission process to get admission to various courses at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

There are a total of 378 seats for MBA courses offered by IIFT Delhi. It varies from one MBA course to another. The seat allotment is done based on applicants CAT scores. Among all the MBA programmes, the highest seat intake is 258 for MBA in International Business. The seat intake is 60 each for the other two MBA programmes. It must be noted by the candidates that the mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade reserves a percentage of seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD categories. In addition, seat allotment for these categories can be done as per the norms of the Government of India. Yes, the candidates are required to clear the sectional cut offs of IIFT entrance exam as well for selection to second round of IIFT admission process, which is group discussion or extempore, essay writing and personal interview. The sectional cut offs play an important role in assessing the abilities of a candidates in all subjects – Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English Comprehension. That is why the institute releases sectional cut offs as well for shortlisting of candidates for the personality assessment round of the MBA admission process. Those who do not meet the sectional cut offs, may not get selected for the group discussion or extempore, essay writing and personal interview round.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi offers three certificate courses. Classes for these courses are conducted on weekends. The duration of the certificate programmes is four-months. Moreover, the courses offered are named Export Import Management, Capital and Financial Markets, and Global Trade Logistics and Operations. Admission to IIFT Delhi certificate courses is based on the candidate’s performance in the interview round conducted at the IIFT campus.

Apart from MBA and MA, IIFT Delhi also offers Executive Post Graduate Diploma programmes. The executive courses are offered in Global Human Resource Management (EPGD-GHRM) and International Business (EPGDIB) specialisations in a part-time mode (Weekends). The final selection to these courses is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the GDPI round conducted at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Delhi campus. Additionally, each aspirant must fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements as well.

For an MBA at IIFT Delhi, an aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. Admission to MBA was earlier through IIFT exam. However, IIFT accepts CAT scores for MBA. In order to apply, a candidate can fill out the application form by visiting the IIFT website (iift.ac.in). CAT registration shall be completed separately through its official website. Candidates are further shortlisted based on merit in the entrance test, academic records, gender diversity, and aggregate obtained in Class 10 and Class 12. The final selection is further done on the basis of CAT exam score, writing assessment, group discussion, work experience, and interview round.

IIFT Delhi admission is open for 2025 session. Interested candidates have to apply online on the institute's website. The institute offers admission IIFT shortlists candidates for MBA (IB and BA) programmes based on CAT scores. For other courses, such as MA and PhD, the institute shall continue to conduct entrance exams.
